@stevieb Yes so many are very yellow.  I look like I've put dirt on my face with them.  And "cool" (PINK!) toned don't work either.  So I mix...

@Sooner  I don't get much sun anymore, so not much color. Given that, I've found that ivory shades work pretty sell for me and if I want a dash more color, well, there's always a touch of blush. That said, I do better with pinks than yellows, never being a fan of that jaundiced look... Smiley Very Happy

@stevieb You and I are in the same white boat I think.  I have for many years used lightest or next to lightest shades, and oddly Shiseido and Shu Umera foundations used to work well for me in these lighter shade.  A Trish McEvoy tech way way back when put me in lighter foundation and I was amazed at the difference!

Anyhow, it is a puzzlelment.  Also, drugstore brands are usually worse about either being very yellow or very pink.  I just bought some Chantecaille that is good, got it 30 percent off and enough to last forever.  I use so little foundation now.

I am using a very inexpensive one from Wet 'N Wild that I like a lot.  It is their tinted moisturizer.  I usually even wear a moisturizer, or their primer underneath + I'm very happy with this.  I can' afford to buy the expensive foundations every month.  This costs me under $7.00 a tube + it last me awhile.

I use this, the cream version.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I've used this in the past and really liked it.  I'm not a fan of full coverage foundations for me because they're just too heavy with my oily to normal skin.  But this is good.  It's a nice sheer coverage and has Retinol, so added bonus.  I think it's very reasonable at around $14 a tube.

I think the Missha BB cream is in the mailbox.  I'm going to wear it today if it's here.
