i think that some have to take their subject into consideration when doing a parody. anyone with half a brain would have known that he were an extremely sensitive person. sometimes it's that one last nail that brings it all together for the person contemplating taking their own lives.

to take ones own life is so heartbreaking. i can only imagine what it must be like for someone to be so sad that the only comfort is the thought of death . l'wren scott (fashion designer) hanged herself last year too. you'd have to be in another place to do it knowing that others will find you. i just can't imagine how devastating it would be to lose a loved one to suicide.

He was quoted in articles stating that he suffered from depression.

I doubt that a tv show contributed to his depression. The article I read said he suffered with clinical depression. I never saw him on QVC because I don't watch beauty shows but the article also said he used his face to test products and if you look at how the man destroyed his appearance, it's obvious that he had in addition to his depression, he had other psychiatric problems. It's sad that he couldn't be saved from hisself.

Well, if you're going to blame Tina Fey and her program, then suggest you spread that blame around to everyone who wrote a bad review of his products. According to reports, he stayed up nights reading every review made on Sephora, and probably other sites where his products were sold.

If on any of those sites, he was torn apart in the same fashion as people her assault the vendors and hosts along with the products being sold, I'd bet that was more hurtful to him than a tv caricature because they were posted by the very people he thought he was helping.
