At the risk of sounding redundant-see your derm.

Actually, you are right. Very few wrinkles and my neck hasn't shown any signs of wrinkling or the crepey look. ![]()

Have seen 3 derms in the last 5 years. The meds/ointments they prescribe are way too harsh. Am considering an aesthetician a friend of mine recommended. Perhaps a gentler, more holistic approach.

@SilleeMee if you were the one who suggested that I may have peri-oral dermatitis when i asked about a year ago, you were right! 🏆 WOW
The derm pronounced it this on Wednesday. My skin is so very dry, itchy, everything makes it break out and yet still scaly.
I was instructed to use this too:
It is new “Pro derm.” He also rx’d antibiotic minocycline and cream Elodel. The Elodel cream has already worked when nothing else did.💗

I am very oily and can break out from the wrong products as my skin can be finicky. I have recently just started using Tatcha products and am loving them. They are agreeing with my skin - don’t increase my oil and aren’t causing any break outs either. They are are pricier, but it’s not easy finding products that agree with skin like mine. A little goes a long way too I am finding which helps with cost.

I’ve got the same issue...I’m 56 and still as oily as ever, I’ve tried every moisturizer you can make here and then some! I’ve just started a new moisturizer from La Roche-Posay called Effaclar Mat daily moisturizer for oily skin. It’s a French skin care brand and is pricey. About $ 32.00 for 1.35 oz. You can get it from CVS, Walgreens, Dermstore.com and probably other retailer that carry this brand. Although pricey, you only need a size of a pea for your whole face so the tube lasts a long time. This also helps my pores stay clean looking and less noticeable. It actually does help with the controlling of my oiliness.
