Don't know about Target, don't shop there but I was looking for a product in CVS. The stocking clerk was working on the shelves and asked me if I needed help. I said I was looking for a lipstick shade but was not sure. She told me if there was a cosmetic I did not like I could return it. Then she added that their prices were a bit higher allowing them to be one of the only stores that would "take it back." Not sure if this was a corporate decision or just our local branch.

I have never returned any cosmetic. I would not want to be one to buy one that was returned so I just don't do it. I have four daughters, I would rather just offer it to them.

Yes, CVS allows returns, no questions asked. I seriously doubt that they would ever put a used product back on the shelf. When it comes to cosmetics, I would imagine that that would be illegal.
