I have to. My deep set eye (a lot of people have said "doe" eyes) will have my eyeshadow in my crease and it hurts! I love L Geller's Eye Spackle. My shadow stays on until I take it off.
I've noticed, however, that her shadows seem to go on very light which look fine on the young models. I do more saturated color. The "no makeup" look doesn't look good on me.
Has anyone tried them using an eyelid base first? It grabs the color.

I use one all the time.
I like Mally's or the double-ended ELF one, One side for setting eye shadow and the other side sets eyeliner.
Both give a great result, lasts all day and more!

I have tried a few eyeshadow bases but none seem to work! My eyelids are extremely oily and my shadow "rolls" into my crease, leaving little or know color on lids! I'd love to find a good one! My other problem is that I need all natural, or as close to it as possible!

@ImadickensDid you try Laura's eye spackle? Or you might google "oily eyelids". Mine are somewhat oily too.

I like a matte taupe look on my large eyelids. I no longer wear eyeshadow so I don't need primer there.
Instead, I use IT concealer: it lasts until I take it off, no shine, no accumulation in the creases. HTH

@ECBG. No, I wasn't aware she had one for eyes! I've used her regular sparkle and I like it. I'll give the other a try!

I've used Laura Geller's clear eye primer and I do like it and seems to work well in helping my shadows to stay put!. What I recently went back to using is the Laura Mercier eye primers (Eye Basics). My shadows and liners stay on all day when I use this and do not travel. They come in a variety of neutral colors, so you don't have to wear shadows over them if you would like a natural look. My favorite now is the very pale light blue called Eye Bright. It counteracts any redness in my lids as well as makes the whites of my eyes brighter. I just purchased another one at her last sale I frequently wear this alone and it is really complimentary to my hazel eyes.

I use Avon Clinical eye duo ... one of the items is a gel for eyelid. Not necessarily a eye shadow base, but that's what's on my lids when I put on my powder eye shadow.

Love the Hard Candy primer...and it feels and works exactly like the philosophy primer and MUCH cheaper. I ordered at Walmart.com for $5 for .48oz tube. Comes in 3 shades. It works great. I liked Mallys but cant find it alone and the Hard Candy actually works better. You can't lose at $5 and I've had no reaction.

Yes, I use Urban Decay's Original primer on my lids. My lids are not oily so the shadows do stay in place.
