HappyDaze - the serum in the TTV is not Isomers Matrixyl™ 20%. It is Isomers Matrixyl™ Advanced Wrinkle Defense Serum.

They are two different products.

I don't think Isomers has advised the total % of the 3 formulas of Matrixyl in the TTV Serum. We know that the % of Matrixyl included is 10%. We also know that Isomers states they always formulate with at least the minimum recommended use %. According to Sederma, the recommended use level of Matrixyl 3000 is 3% to 8% and the recommended use level of Mayrixyl Synthe 6 is 2%. Since the Adv. Serum contains 10% of Matrixyl, the total % of all three types should equal 15% to 20% or more.

so what is meant by the "20%" in the title of the product?

This is from Isomers description of 20% formulation:
Matrixyl 20% contains:

• Matrixyl targets deep wrinkles & dermal matrix (plumps skin)
• Matrixyl 3000 targets wrinkles and hydration (smooths surface)
• 2 forms of the peptide in 300% above the clinical level

Adding: For the first time Isomers has taken two key peptides of micro collagen (lab created collagen) and combined them in a synergistic blend of 10% each in our exclusive base.

Right, so there is 20% matrixyl in the formulation. That is all I was trying to clarify, as Lyn stated that Isomers doesn't state what % matrixyl is in the product.

HappyDaze - Isomers doesn't state the total % of the 3 Matrixyls in the TTV. The Matrixyl 20% is a different serum and it does not contain Matrixyl Synthe 6.

None! They are all different and perform different efficacy. She's on right now pitching the TSV with loads of details, too many in fact for me to keep up with. Some might say confusing, especially with such an extensive line. Says Isomers was in on the naming of Matrixyl 3000.

If there is no information as to the strength of this Matrixyl serum, then how would anyone know that it contains the highest percentage?

The only thing I found in its description is "8% Matrixyl concentrate in the formulation at its optimum tested level."

I don't know how that correlates to the fact that my NCN is labeled as being 25 percent.

ETA: I realized that you may be speaking more generally about her use of Matrixyl in a variety of her products. But still, I'm surprised that she hasn't included the percentage in this serum in the product description.

I tried both of Isomer's matrixyls and didn't notice much from either. I'd suggest trying NCN's Multiactive Peptide Matrixyl serum 25% which has the following in it:

1. Matrixyl
2. Matrixyl 3000
3. Matrixyl Synthe'6
4. Acetyl Tetrapeptide-9
5. Wild Mushroom Extract
6. Soy Rice Peptides
7. Pepha-tight

The sample size is 1oz and runs $45 and 2.5 oz is $85.

Edited to add: I agree with suzyQ3 - and she uses NCN's matrixyl serum too.

Wow..lots of great info here. Thx everyone. I caved and got both the TTV and the dry skin kit with the rPur. I'm thinking of adding some more matrixyl defense into my one serum during the day. When I'm done I may try the NCN brand. But I'll have enuf stash for at least. 2 years! Lol

I agree that there are so many products and it can be confusing trying to figure out what to use. Although I think that's why she made the All in One series which does simplify. But that doesn't mean it has everything in it you need so you might want to add something else to cocktail with it, I suppose.

As to the Matrixyl, I've never used the "advanced" and didn't get the TTV, but I did use another one from Isomers (which came in a previous TTV with a tinted cream) and I saw no difference using that.
