I enjoy my lightstim, dermarolling, and facial exercise/micro current. I also enjoy my body workouts (currently doing barre work) and eating healthy. And good skincare is a must. I figure as long as I am doing something, I will have and maintain good results. If I stop, I won't get the results. At my age, it's crucial to keep up with my exercises just so I can stay limber. Lol!

If you don't do anything special, then nothing special happens. Maren, I love this line! So true!

Boy, you're pretty inspirational! With all your commitment and all you do, you deserve the best! I bet you feel fantastic!

And I was quoting Harpa because I think it's brilliant and simple! And a good mantra!

Oops! I didn't see Harpa's quote! I always enjoy her posts. And yours too!

I do make the commitment now. I stopped doing everything in my mid-thirties because I was very busy. Well my weight soared and I had all these aches and pains. I decided soon after that I would make taking care of myself one of my hobbies. But now it's like being a classic car. The older I get, the more work it takes. I'm always in the shop. Lol!

You ladies are too funny. {#emotions_dlg.laugh} I was just thinking how high maintenance I have become to myself. I rarely ask anyone to do anything for me, but I sure do ask a lot of me. With everything going downhill, I just feel that I have to do these things because I fear looking like Tommy Lee Jones. {#emotions_dlg.scared}

Between shaving the legs, micro pedi-ing the feet, face creams, devices, hair color and conditioning, exercise and now the self tanner will soon start, I have to really keep at it to get the gardening, cleaning, laundry, and cooking done. Whew. I'm 62 and no longer work (at least outside the home). I don't know how ladies who do work keep up with it all. I am and have always been a "do it yourselfer" from doing my own nails, to painting and wallpapering and spreading the weed and feed. I'm really not complaining just amazed at how much needs to be done at this age. I thought 30 years ago, that at 62, I'd be sitting on the porch reading a book. I realize how lucky I am to be healthy and able. Love the line about being in "the shop". Exactly right.
