She was on Beauty Report tonight.  Is she really worth $18 a bottle?  I have never used her nail lacquer before, just wondering...

Nope. I've tried her cuticle remover and her quick dry topcoat. The first didn't remove cuticle and the second didn't dry quick.

IMHO, no.  I once bought one of her gel nail sets at an outrageous price, even though it was TS priced.  The color is nice, but I don't think the product performs any better than OPI & similar brands.  My bad for getting caught up in the sales hype.  I tuned in yesterday when she was selling her $50 hand cream.  Oh please, gimme a break!  Gold Bond hand & foot creams give great results at a fraction of the price.  So they don't contain sunscreen?  So I just use the sunscreen I already have.

I actually purchased her Rich Girl hand cream not too long ago.  I thought the same thing at first, that it was ridiculously priced, but that ginormous bottle will last a really long time.  You only need a half a pump to do the job and it's actually quite nice.  I figure it will last me well over a year so in the long run I'll probably be saving money rather than trying others at $10 a pop and not liking them for one reason or another, or using them up faster because more is needed.

I love the Lippmann polishes I have.

I have polishes ranging from $1 (Wet N Wild) to $27 (Chanel) and find that price does not determine quality. Some cheaper polishes are really good and some expensive ones are not. I do find that Lippmann polishes generally have a fantastic formula, are easy to apply, and wear well. Lippmann bottles are my favorites because they look so elegant. That said, I usually only splurge on a Lippmann color when it's very unique and I can't find a cheaper dupe OR when it's a color I love and will wear often enough that I'll pay more for the formula. I do have some cheap dupes of Lippmann colors and they aren't as good.

Keep in mind that nail polish depends on individual chemistry. The base coat that never fails for me doesn't last a day on my good friend and the base coat that she loves peels on me. I wouldn't go out and buy 5 of them at that price without trying one, first.

JeanLouise, I'm glad you're happy with your purchase.  I tend to stock up when there are sales, when I have coupons, & of course when Walgreens offers discounts to seniors.Woman LOL  So I'm pretty well set for quite a while.

To the other posters who like her products, go for itWoman LOL

I tried one of her polishes years and i mean years ago.  Like 35 years ago when you really didn't have access to top brand nail polish.  I think I found it in CVS.  I didn't like it.  Back then I only used Sally Hansen.  Now, after many years and products, nail extensions, and gels, I stick to what works for me.  I did, however, purchase her cuticle cream and the gel pro set, as I like to try new things I think will work.

I never use a base coat.  I stick to OPI, Sally H, Zoya, and Revlon polishes.  I use two coats of polish, and then Out The Door to set and dry it, and then use the OPI drip drops as a final application.  I can go a good ten days or more without chipping.

I also agree with what ChynnaBlue states regarding chemistry and the price/value comparison of a product.

She had (may still) a pale pink named "Tiny Dancer".

No matter the price it is my all time favorite pale pink.

I have a lot of polishes but unless it's a color I know I will use over and over, I try to keep the cost per bottle under $10.

I have some DL colors that I do love.  Most all polish lasts at least a week for me, then I tire of the color.  For awhile, I swore by her gel top coat, but I've moved on to a CND product.
