I tried to use the dark St. Tropez self tan and disappointment is an understatement. It did not turn out good at all. It was very splotchy and terrible looking and easy to rub off twelve hours later. If they use these on swimsuit models and celebrities, why does it look good on them and with me, not working at all. I am returning as I don't want to use this product again. Has anyone else had this problem with this self tanner? Thanks!

I haven't had any problem with either the regular or Dark (my fav!) St. Tropez self tanners. My routine is to shower and exfoliate early in the evening. I pat my skin dry and put lotion on. I wait about a 1/2 hour or so and then apply the St. Tropez. It does dry fairly quickly. I usually wear an older set of PJs to sleep in. You'll look really dark! In the morning, I hop in the shower to rinse off the residue. You aren't as dark but it leaves a beautiful color. HTH
