What a day. Got to hospital early for CT and they took me early. Which was nice. Sis and I went to get some breakfast but still had almost 2 hrs. to kill before my doc appt. Doc said CT looked fine. Nothing there to try to 'get' to test for sarcoid. However, when I told him I was having surgery on Mon., he started talking screening for sleep apnea! So, he fit me in with a nurse practitioner for the sleep study doc and then over to another part of hte hospital to pick up this in-home monitor to wear tonight that kind of screens you for sleep apnea to see if you need a full study. DH did this before, too. Now, both DH & I I don't think I have apnea, but we'll see. It's just that this is so rushed b/c of the holiday on Fri. and surgery is Mon! Going to PCP doc now for EKG. And I hear thunder out there.

Good evening ladies. Had some strong thunderstorms and heavy rain this afternoon. Clear now and a little cooler.

Wow Bethee you have had a busy day. My doctor sent me for a sleep study even though I told her I felt that my sleeping problems were pain related. I didn't have sleep apnea after all. Hope all your tests are good so that nothing delays your surgery.

Hi Ladies! Too hot here again! Bethee, gosh they are really taking up all of your time with tests. Prayers that the surgery is successful and you have no rebound inflammation. My mom and Aunt have sleep apnea. My Aunt did the at home test that you are doing. It showed she stopped breathing every few seconds. My mom did the overnight study. Hers wasn't as bad as her sisters but she did have issues. She loves her machine. Doesn't mind wearing it at all. Hopefully you won't have to worry about it. Wonderful that your CT was ok!! Hi sapphire! At least it is a little cooler there after your storms. Is the 4th lots of fun where you are staying? Lakes usually are fun places on holidays. No real plans here.
