Morning. Went to friend's house for movie night (with much good food) and after the movie and time to go, went out to warm up my car and it was snow-covered and snowing! I drove home about 30 mph the whole way. DS was at a friend's house (back in the country) and I called to tell him to come home. He wants to argue with me about when! Grrrr. Then, he texts me that he's going to a fire. Double Grrrr. Everytime I tell him something . . . I'm sick of being ignored.

Is Love home from her trip? Hope she had a good time. I see more snow and COLD in the forecast. Sick of the cold, too.

Prayers.

Re: Daily Chat, Sun., 1/26/14

Good afternoon. We got a few inches of snow yesterday. None so far today. Just more cold weather. Snow and really cold temps again for the next few days. The movie night sounds like fun...... As far as being ignored-I feel your pain. My DS doesn't do that yet(8). DD(14) doesn't seem to have a friendly or soft voice when she talks to me. Forget about asking her to put clothes away. They just stay where I put them then get messed up/wrinkled when she goes through them. She has a walk in closet. It's not like there is no room. Grrrrrrrr.. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day!

Re: Daily Chat, Sun., 1/26/14

Good evening Bethee and Karin. Just thought I'd stop in before bed to see if anyone was around.

This winter seems to be especially brutal. What happened to global warming?

Stay warm and safe all.

I remember those days of being ignored by the DD's. Now I have GC and my DD's get to have the experience. Just remember ladies what goes around comes around.

An update on my BIL. When he went back to have his leg checked the bones were still where they should be so they put a cast on. It will be 2-3 weeks before they know if it is healing. He is diabetic so healing takes longer. I was just worried that the cancer had returned the way his leg broke so easily but thankfully it didn't. I guess his bones are fragile from the treatments he went through.

Time to go to sleep. Have a good night and sleep well everyone.

Prayers

Re: Daily Chat, Sun., 1/26/14

Hi ladies, sorry I'm here so late. I got home late & now I've got laundry on or no one will have clean clothes for tomorrow. The dryer has been broken since 12/31/13, so I have to hang them to dry on the hot heating pipe & then steam the wrinkles out! It s*cks! I had such a good time away. Oscar didn't come. I didn't win any money but that's ok, still had a blast! DD had fun in Washington on her school trip. Today we went dress shopping for her semi formal. We got this beautiful coral beaded dress. BIG buck-a-Roos! We also need to get another dress for her senior prom. We had a party here for DD 18th bday a week or so ago. It got out of control with over 100 teenagers, so meanie mom here tossed their butts out. Hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to post daily but things are crazy here, plus my laptop croaked so I only have my cell phone or Kindle. I got a new laptop for my DS because he needs it more than me, for school. Anyway, would hate to see the daily chat go bye bye. Ok, laundry finish up & bed.
