I agree 100% with everything  you said, @LilacTree.  Thank you.

If our bodies are healthy on the inside, it will show on the outside.  Moisturizers help keep our skin healthy, but they aren't miracle workers.  Olay has been around a looong time and it's one of the best for moisturizers and cleansers.

I also have a jowl.  I saw some process on TV where they use light or something to help get rid of the jowl....then they said 'if you've had a neck operation, you can't get it'.  I've had my thyroid removed and I have suspicious growths they are watching....so I'll just gobble gobble through what's left...Ha!

I've realized that kind of aging is not slowly progressive.  I noticed one "marionette line" on the right side of my mouth about six weeks ago.  Then it was on the left side, and now they are both prominent.  It's like they weren't there and then all of a sudden they were.  What a shock!

I also have growths all over my body . . . all kinds.  I'm due for a dermatologist visit, my last one was at least four years ago and I had a lot of growths then too, but nothing was serious.  I blame it on the prednisone.

It all comes down to GOOD GENES.  My mother had good skin and I followed in her footprints.  I don't fuss over products anymore.  Marula oil at bedtime and a moisturizer in the morning.  I have no visible wrinkles unless I smile and I have them around the eyes and that's pretty good for a 67 year old gal.  I also stopped going in the sun in the early 20's.  I am allergic to Oil of Olay but I can use Neutrogena products if I choose to do so.
