I can't stop watching this. Whenever I think it's the end of Western civilization, I see something like this and it restores my faith in humanity. There are still some brilliant minds out there.
I just marvel at those who can make these connections in their brains. And then share it!
Somebody has waaay too much time on their hands. Including me, for watching it.
@But, okay, it’s funny. In fact, it’s hysterical. I laughed my @$$ off.
Cute, too.
🤣
I know!
And the dog would love it, too, but I can't figure out how to get him to focus on the monitor.
If only the pika was making little squeaky sounds. But then it wouldn't be very interesting for us.

Can you believe November ends this week?

I have 1 tub of body butter and 2 partial tubes of body lotion remaining that I purchased between 2017-2018. I pretty much did not use body lotion during the summer. So knowing that I only bought one additional lotion. That should get me through 2019. I've gotten much better at not stocking up on bath & body products.
I have not gotten better at not buying eyeshadow. Sad face.
@Oshare-girl I am the opposite. I am doing so much better at not buying makeup, in fact, I have not bought any this November. However, I am not doing good at all on bath and body products. In fact, I have way too much body butters, shower gels, and soaps. But what did I do yetserday? I ordered more bar soaps :<

My sister is still working through all the teas. When she sniffed Victorian London Fog she cringed a little. Now it's her favorite.
I just emptied a large tin that I'd been using to store Hot Cinnamon Spice. (She likes that one, too.) I refilled the tin with Big Red Sun. That's not a bad black tea at all. But if I'm going to drink black tea, why wouldn't it be Paris or Victorian London Fog?
When I empty more of these tins I'll have to decide on which ones to keep. If I like a tea, I'll keep it. If it's one I'll never reorder in bulk, the tin will be donated.
So which teas are you liking these days?
@just bee, So far, my favorite is Paris. I like Hot Cinn. Spice, but is that sweet. I think next time I will add more water to it or not. But I like it. I am going to try adding a bag to hot apple cider later. It might be way too sweet but worth a try.
The Chocolate Chai and the Jasmine Dragon Pearl, jury is still out but I only tried them once so I have to give them a chance. I do have to start drinking my camomile tea too.
With H&S and all of the other brands of teas I have, I can do a no buy in 2019. 😃 I am not even a big tea drinker, why is it that I like collecting teas. Is it finding that perfect cup of tea. Sort of like the perfect foundation or eyeshadow or the notion of.

@aprilskies Great job on your No Buy November!! I am definitely going to do a No-Buy in Beauty Products again for Lent in 2019. (I can't do the whole year, but Lent is easy for me to do a no-buy--religious guilt). I probably need to extend my no-buy this coming Lent to clothing, too.
@momoftwo2007, Wasn’t I just going on how I didnt buy anything. I should know better on being too quick to talk. Well, I ended up buying a liquid foundation. I dont have a liquid foundation and wanted something for the winter because my skin is so dry in the winter. The beauties on this forum were sharing the 60% off sale at Eve Pearl so I ordered her HD Creme Foundation. However, I only ordered what I needed and I ordered an item that if I like it, I am willing to pay the full price for. Truthfully I should have ordered the light too just in case, but didnt do it. I don’t want to start adding a lot of products. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one.
But that was my only beauty purchase this month. I have to say, in the last 15 years or so, this is the least I have spent on beauty in the month of November.
I think instead of a no buy in 2019, I will do a very low buy. I think it works better for me. But, a true low buy. I will have to think about this once I see how December goes. It sure is tough this time of year.

@just bee wrote:More on developing new habits...
November's habit, as I've posted, was weaning myself off a lifetime of Skippy creamy and adopting a peanut butter with just peanuts and salt. What made the switch easier was using the new stuff on great quality apples every day for two weeks.
I think I've decided on December's new habit. I'm still so reluctant to tackle projects. Even though I know that once I start them I can make real progress.
I brew a mug of tea for five minutes.
In that five minutes I can wash dishes, water plants, sort junk mail, wipe appliances and counters. All sorts of stuff, really. In 5-minute increments.
I need to do that every day, every mug.
@just bee, yes, me too. I try and empty the dishwasher, wash the dishes, get my work things ready to go, etc.... I really want to start doing squats or 5 minutes of weights or something Iike that. It really does make a difference. Some mornings are always ambitious though but I do feel productive when they are.

@Oshare-girl, that is reallly not a bad idea. To keep a list of restock items and buy them November. I think I will do that next year. I know I have enough stuff to get through for a while so I will do this next year as well. I like this idea.
All I know is makeup, and skincare, were so hard not to buy. Especially eyeshadow. There were so many moments I just wanted to splurge and almost did. I wouldn’t mind hearing of what you bought if you want to share.
I might as well live through someone. 😂
