Okay -- here's the deal. It's spring and we're halfway through April. This is the challenge: Each of you has to do something new, different and fun. Then you have to report on it here.

We have two weeks to find something new to do!

I did do something different last night, but I'll save that in case I do nothing new or different over the next two weeks. But I really want to top that. So I'm keeping my eyes open for opportunities.

Ready... steady... GO!

I did find one at Walmart, but, sheesh, was it flimsy so I didn't get it. Not that I need a fancy dispenser but maybe one that when I hold it, it doesn't fold like a cheap umbrella. So, I put it on the list. Today, I needed something from under my bathroom cabinet and started pulling things out and what do you know, I found a new hair color dispenser that I could use. Then, I wanted to buy a spray bottle because I want to make a mister, no, not a man, a refreshing spray, so what do I find an empty bottle from Jonathan Products, remember him, that I will clean and use. So, all that to say, we buy and save these things for when we need them, but then, when we need them we go and buy them again. So, I didn't add to the clutter in my cabinet or my to do list. moral of this long story, look before you buy.

It's true!

I did find a bottle of rose water when I was shuffling around in my bathroom and it is years old. I thought I had to toss it but it still smells good. I am not sure about putting it on my skin, but I am soaking some cotton balls in a dish and leaving them in the bathroom. So, while my skin is not reaping any possible benefits, the bathroom is smelling mighty good.

Phyllis Diller and Carol Channing, wow, I forgot about those two gals, what a blast from the past. How did I get here. But, lol, on Phyllis Diller, she does look just like those lizard birds with that hair. Too funny.

Oh yes, I think this can be good. I have been trying to push myself in this direction but have been slacking a bit. This challenge might be fun. Count me in.

Coolamundo! We have two weeks to do something fun. I really hope I don't have to use last night's experience as my fun thing. I was hoping that would be a practice run.

No pressure. This doesn't have to be BIG and life-altering like jumping out of a plane. Just something that you can walk away from, thinking: "Hey! That was fun!"

Don't be that cat!

I cleaned a section of the garage. It was different, and satisfying. Not sure about fun.

I found not one but two hand crank flashlights, one of which had a radio. I spent aound $50-60 buying one from QVC a year ago. Several items had gone bad from disuse such as a suitcase that got moldy. So sad that items were kept to be used someday when the item in current use goes bad, and now both are bad. Oh well. Lessons learned. I now have a better understanding about Marie Kondo's attitude of joy and life/spark in items. I hope the things I put in the donate pile will be used and bring joy to someone. If nothing else those donating organizations employ people who have difficulties getting other jobs.
