Re: Carmindy Products Up Now To Purchase

I'll watch for reviews on Carmindy, but I was really happy to see all the new vendors on HSN: Easy Spirit, Carmindy, Hose Eber. The Q is falling behind on new and interesting vendors. I've been watching HSN more than before. Guess the Q doesn't think customers need new interesting vendors....

Re: Carmindy Products Up Now To Purchase

Packaging on some of the products looks a little cheap to me, like something you would find in a drugstore. And I think it's kind of a rip-off of Tiffany & Co. with the whole Carmindy & Co. even though her blue is a different shade.

Re: Carmindy Products Up Now To Purchase

Her Sally Hansen line was not impressive at all (glittery primer, greasy lipsticks, so-so on everything else) so I hope this one is better. Her old line had lavender concealer which she said at the time was the only kind to use, but it seems to be missing from the new line. Anyhow, the Sally Hansen one sure didn't last long, I think my CVS had it for less than a year.

That set of 3 lip colors looked pretty, but she mentioned that they felt 'tingly' which would indicate to me that they had peppermint or menthol. I will definitely wait for reviews before trying anything! Will these be available in ds also, or just HSN?

I love Carmindy but the ingredients on her stuff is just awful. Like drugstore brands.

Re: Carmindy Products Up Now To Purchase

I would be interested in trying her foundation, but it's $35. That seems too high for a new product.

I'll wait to read reviews, or wait for her to have a TS.

I never tried it -- never could find it in my shade -- so will mosey on over to see if she has something similar. Generally, I read good reviews of all her stuff except I think the "glowing" type products had metallic flecks.

Thanks, Butterfly12!

Where did you read reviews already?

Sorry, that was confusing. The reviews were on her Sally Hansen products -- not this line.

Re: Carmindy Products Up Now To Purchase

I have Carmindy's Sally Hansen foundation, and I don't think it's going to be anything like her new one. It was only about $12, and was well-rated, but I sampled it when the line was being discontinued, and only a few shades were left. So, although I like the consistency of it, it's hard for me to say if it's something I would purchase again. The shade was too light for me, but I occasionally wear it if I apply a bronzer over it.

The lavender concealer in her new line has already sold out, it is called the light concealer & all that is left is the medium shade

The hosts at HSN said her new line is exclusive at HSN until March, well March is only a couple days away...no one said where it could be found after that

Carmindy always used make up brushes that were that same color blue, I forget the name of the brand. She loves them and says they are the best brushes. I too thought that the name "Carmindy & Co." was a take on the Tiffany brand. But the blue color could be either.
