But I didn't like WEN the first time and I too, thought this was crazy. But after trial and error, I found the right formula and it works wonders.
For those that don't like WEN or feel it is all hype, I'm happy that there is a great shampoo and conditioner out there for you.
My thoughts exactly.
My first trial of WEN was also kind of unimpressive. I experimented with some different formulas and actually took the time to read the directions and it's been clear sailing ever since.
I do the two cleansings because it works well for me. One was good, but two is better--for my hair. Others will have different experiences.
This is a beauty forum and people write about products they like all the time. I don't see the insults flying when someone raves about Bobbie Brown or Laura Mercier or even Revlon, for goodness sakes. The ugliness seems to come out full force when WEN is being discussed and I just don't get it.

After trying WEN twice at different times over the last 8 years I was just desperate enough to try again because nothing else has worked for me. After using the 613 for a little over a week I'm convinced. Can't wait to see how my hair looks in a few years. The 613 has been a life saver for me. Unless you've suffered from thinning, frizzy hair (when you've had gorgeous thick shiny hair your whole life) you just don't understand.
This is me..I have used WEN off and on the past several years doing only one cleanse and only loving the results for two days in a row..but day 3 my hair would feel heavy and weighted down even though I was rinsing completely.
It wasn't until I finally gave in and tried the cleanse w/ half pumps, rinse and repeat that I got PHENOMENAL results EVERY time. Now I cannot imagine ever being without WEN. I had no idea what a difference it could make, but it was a game changer for me.
I have fine, thin, shoulder-length hair and have never loved my hair more. I can't wait to see how it looks after a year of doing it this way. Never stuck with it for more than a week at the most in the past. But I have used it every day for the past 2 months. NEVER thought I would do that.

If you don't need to rinse and repeat, don't. I don't always do it. The real key is leaving it on long enough to let it break down the products and oils in your hair. As long as you do that, it doesn't matter if you do one wash or two.

It seems the best way is just to experiment with your product til you hit the right method..It seems so far (and I am new) that using the peach, I do one full cleanse, rinse very very well, put a little back on the ends, rinse that really well, and amazing!...My hair is very fine, dry, I can't even tell you how much better it looks already, and I have not even started the oil or spray product..I like another poster can't wait to see my hair in let's say 6 months from now..I love reading how people use the product and have already picked up some tips..I also don't understand the unkind remarks, I don't care for some product lines, just don't use them anymore if so..this is very helpful to have other women who have used Wen to share their experiences with us....

I have found that many variables play a role in how I use Wen. I have used Wen exclusively for two years, and for me, it gives me the best results for the least amount of effort. I use different formulas and cleansing techniques depending on the outcome I desire. These forums are helpful in steering me towards the products that will work best for me; I save time and money. I am basically lazy, keep my hair long and straight, and I rarely need to be "red carpet" ready these days
My hair looks expensive, with minimal effort, by using Wen. I remember back to the beginning of my interest in this product; there was a tray full of products that Wen cleansing conditioner was touted as replacing. For me, it did. Other than the styling creams (for those red carpet moments), I only use the cleansing conditioners. I know other Wen products now exist, and people may want or need those. I'm glad to have the opportunity to discuss this product on this forum.

Not attacking but why bother posting here if you are not interested in Wen? Even my stylist, who I have been going to for 18 years agrees my hair is 100% better with Wen. It's not for everyone, but my mother always said "If you have nothing nice to say......well you know the rest.
Really wonder why people post here if they do not like the product. What a waste of your time. Personally I'm a busy woman and only go on the forums that interest me and definitely only the ones that I am a fan of. Just makes me shake my head.....Are you bored manny2?

Totally agree.....must be bored. I for one don't have time to waste on a forum that does not interest me.

I don't always do two cleanses. Most of the time I do one.

I am still not in love with it, but am doing one cleanse. I am using Fig and now trying the Bamboo Green Tea.
I have tried it because I am desperate to stop the look of frizzines and dryness I never have had before. My stylist says it's due to increasing amounts of gray hair! Yuck.
I don't see anything fantastic though. I don't like my current hair cut. Someone else cut my hair, and I don't like that they layers are too long. So that's not helping either.
The different stylist told me she gets half and half opinions on WEN. Some love it, others hate it!
I have been using Pureology Nanoworks, which is a high quality shampoo/conditioner. So, I am trying the WEN comparison for awhile and see if my hair looks better.
I always had strong, shiny, great, hair. This is a bummer!
