I have dry mature skin and while I now use and really love Mally Defender BB cream foundation I don't love the $40 price.

Has anyone tried either CG Lumi or L'Oreal Tru Match luminous liquid foundations? I like a soft sort of dewy look but I don't like or what a greasy look.

Liquids are what I prefer. I use a real techniques expert face brush to apply my foundation and really like that over anything else.

I wear light/medium in the Mally Defender.

I really like the loreal lumi. I have normal to dry skin. It's really pretty on the skin.

Forgot to mention the loreal does not leave your face greasy looking at all.

Not in the case of the L'Oreal. It has a peal in it that gives you a glow, but doesn't have sparkle of glitter. It's a lovely finish.

The color range didn't work for me and the one that was close in the summer broke me out.

My solution has been to use my favorite foundation, whatever that is at the time, and add a half pump of the L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer to the foundation. I get the lovely glow with a foundation I love that I know matches my skin tone.

The Magic lumi primer is nice toO. You can mix it with any foundation or use it as a highlight.

Yes, I do both. It's so versatile and is really lovely with no glitter.

I have dry, mature skin and the CG made it worse.  Haven't tried the L'Oreal

I didn't care for the Covergirl outlast stay luminous foundation and thought it was average. I also didn't like the scent of this foundation either.
