I have always been on the hunt for the perfect brow look. My latest purchases are the Laura Geller tri-tip brow marker and the new Clinique Just Browsing brush-on mousse. My problem is - if I get the formula right, the color is probably wrong. I have dark blonde hair with gold tones. My brows are just a tad darker, but the perfect blonde without any ash in it will work for me. For years I mixed colors from a Sonia Kashuk brow palette. Then I found Clinique's Instant Lift for brows in soft blonde. The color was perfect, but the other side of the pencil is a highlighter. So I was running out of the color side and had plenty of the highlighter left! IT 's perfect brow pencil that so many love went on too dark for me, even when I pressed very lightly, but their Brow Power powder gel pencil worked and looked good, but just wouldn't stay on long.
My two newest attempts are OK. Laura's tri-tip is a little darker than I would like, but it's very liquidy and fills in unever for me. The Clinique mousse is just a brush on mousse.
A while back DD introduced me to Anastasia. They specialize in brows. In fact a few years ago I got their duo highlighter similar to the one IT had on yesterday. I didn't try any color back then, just bought the highligher to use on my inner eye area. (I actually use Laura Geller's French Vanilla more!)
Anastasia's Dip Brow Pomade in blonde is WONDERFUL! The color is perfect, it goes on easily, and it stays on - all day long. I used to carry an eye pencil with me all day in case I had to touch up!
So if anyone else here uses this, what do you think? Have you tried others too?

my brows are almost black, what I have that is. I have the front at the center than sparse up to the arch than nothing other than a hair or two down to the tails, really no tails.
I have tried almost everything out there, shopping channels, dept. stores you name it.
Pencils are a bit harsh looking for me since I almost have to draw and that's what it looks like, not natural.
Powders, gels and waxes don't work since there aren't any hairs for them to adhere to. I have Tarte mousse as well as Two Faced mousse which is a whole lot better than the tarte one and was the best of anything so far, till now.
I went to Ulta intending to get LG tri tip but the clerk talked me out of it. She put all the colors on me, brow, brunette, taupe and charcoal. Other than the charcoal they all had a reddish cast on me so she asked if that was what I had my mind set on, no, just thought a brow marker would be more natural.
she said yes you are right, wait and minute and came back with Stila in light. I said this will be too light, no, let me put it on you. I couldn't believe how nice and how natural this looks on me. This is the best my brows have looked since I was in high school.
if you get a chance, go to Ulta and try one, they do have testers. You may be surprised how nice this is as well as what color looks the best on you. I never would have bought light if she hadn't put it on me that's for sure but is perfect and very natural. It really looks like I have brows, real looking brow hairs.

I have several brow products that I really like. The newest one for me that I like is Smashbox's Brow Tect to go, I can't believe I never tried this, but it is super simple and goes on very nicely, I really like it! I love Anastasia's Dipbrow in Chocolate for me, lasts all day and the color is perfect, it does take a little practice to get it on properly, it is easy to apply too much the first couple of times, I watched several tutorials on this one. I also really like Benefit's in a tube, it fills in quickly and it is super easy to use, the tube is tiny however. The last one that I really like is It Cosmetics Brow Perfector, it is easy and I love how it looks, so between all of these, I think I am set for brows for a while!!!!!!!

I have tried many brow products. I'm currently using the IT Cosmetics Build-A-Brow Waterproof 5-in-1 Gel and I like it but need to clean the brush every few days as it dries hard on the brush. I bought the IT brush cleaner at Ulta and it is amazing! I also use my old stand by for years which is a brow kit from Senna cosmetics. I use it over the IT gel or by itself. I love that it comes with a stencil kit and three colors. And, the powders can double as eye liner. It literally lasts forever. I am only on my second compact in 10+ years. Well worth the investment. I found this when my girlfriend was representing them at Marshall Fields/Macy's. They used to carry it at their makeup counter. Now, they have their own website where I purchase it. They do have makeup studios in California. If you sign up for e-mails they will send you special offers and coupons. I purchase items when they have free shipping offers.

Too Faced Bulletproof Brows in Taupe - it is the best - lasts all day - holds those brows down and fills in - comes in pot with brush and spoolie. Love! I have had my pot for months and still have product left. Around $30 on HSN.

Your hair sounds similar to mine. I use Anastasia Beverly Hills thin pencil (the one that rolls up) in soft Brown. Do you have an Ulta anywhere near you to try stuff?
I've tried this also, and very nice. But, it didn't last very long for me. Ulta carries their own version that is very similar. I used this to fill in and then my Senna brow powder over it.
