What has anyone found that really does a good job of plumping lips?
I'm considering having injections but would rather try a good lip plumper, if there is such a thing.

I've tried many lip plumpers, and none do anything for my lips. I enjoy the sting, but my lips aren't any plumper nor do they even appear plumper IMO.

Most are good moisturizers but no plumping.

Several years ago when I had " permanent " brow makeup done ( which only lasted 2-3 years ), I researched having lips done. The aesthetician would only do anything with lips if the person was a burn victim.
She said the lips were extremely sensitive and it would be quite painful. I followed her advice.

I do not like the stinging I'll stick with my lips as is.

I have several lip plumpers and I can tell you that I've never seen one bit of difference. I don't know if you wear lip gloss or not but the gloss alone will give an appearance of a fuller lip. It doesn't have to be a Plumping gloss. It's all about how the light hits your glossy lips.

@LTT1 Just go ahead and get the injections ~ you'll love them.

@LTT1 I've used City Beauty Clear lip plumper since it came out...expnsive so only purchase when they have a sale usally "twofors". That's when I stock up. I put it on after skincare and keep it on while doing my makeup then blot it off to do lipstick.
Yes, most lip plumpers have a bit of sting. That's how they work.

thank you, beauty ladies for your input on this!
My hair stylist gets injections..her lips look nice and she asked for injections that would make her lips look a bit plumper but normal.
If I did do this, I would use her source. However, keeping in mind that I do have that autoimmune situation (LP)
it probably would be foolhardy to get them. I was hoping that the small lines Im getting above my lips would fill in ...that would go a long way in helping my lips retain their fullness.
I had this "revelation" that at this point in life keeping skin looking good is more about "prep" than it used to be.
Yesterday I grabbed the L'Occitane shea butter and put it all over my face first thing in the morning. That worked out fairly well to help moisturize as a primer.
