Try the IT CC cream. I think you will love it. I would get the regular one. I like both but I have been mixing them and I think when I reorder I will just get the regular cc.

I can't imagine shopping for a foundation that costs more than $10. But that's just me. I've tried many many foundations over the years, and always go back to CG Aquasmooth. $7 at Kroger.

I am not using a foundation per se. I have been using and loving Tarte BB cream. It was recommended to me in Sephora when I did that foundation finder where they match a foundation to your skin. When they told me they were recommending a BB cream, I had my reservations but they told me I could return it so I took the plunge.
I am so happy that I did. I have gone through multiple tubes of it. QVC really does have the best everyday deal on it. A tube anywhere else that sells it is $36.00. QVC offers the brush and full size tube for $40.00.

Who in gods name would spend more than $20 on foundation. I buy L'oreal Lumni or serum absolute and love it.

I do because drugstore foundations do not have the range of shades for those who are in between shades. One drugstore foundation I thought was perfect until I went outside and saw how it had oxidized to a shade of orange not known in nature! The shade below it was too white/light for my face.
Drugstores often do not have sales help generally and if they do, they are not experienced in cosmetics. I prefer going to either Sephora, Ulta or the counter of makeup company in a department store where someone is very familiar with the product or figuring out which skin tones and foundation shades work together.
IMO, you do get what you pay for. If it works well for you, that's great! But for me, drugstore brands do not work.

You didn't say if sunscreen is important in your foundation and my choices all have it as sun protection is an important component in my anti aging regime and I live in the high desert where it is essential ;-) Also, I have rosacea so I sometimes layer different products for better coverage while trying to look natural. All of these products which have been my favorites for years, have decent coverage while maintaining a natural appearance. The BE Original can be shiny, though.
Revlon CC about $15.00 at the drugstore. Pretty good coverage and natural look.
Clinique Almost Powder Foundation -I really like this applied with a loose (I use the BE Hydrating Minerveil brush) brush over the Revlon CC for a little extra coverage where I have rosacea $27.00
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue $29.00
Bare Minerals Original foundation. I can't wear this around the eyes anymore, so if I want to wear it (because the coverage is soooo good) I use the Complexion Rescue or Revlon CC around my eyes and apply this everywhere else $28 ish
hth!

@kcladyzI do and have never found a drug store foundation to match my fair skin.
Believe me, I have tried but it is just a waste of money.
I have a liquid foundation and a powder foundation that is perfect.
