I'm loving the Mary Kay version for $14. You know how you pretty much have to buy something when a coworker is having a party? I picked out a mid-tone gray with a sheen to it and I've been in love with it ever since.

I've tried the elf sticks and while the more neutral shades are great, the gray they offer just looks like all glitter on me, no gray pigment at all, darn it. I had high hopes for that one in my crease.

Oh SuzyQ3?? I'd kill for those eyebrows!!!

Uh-oh. You're not thinking that that was a picture of me, were you?

That's not you Suzy?? Sorry - but I'd still kill for those eyebrows...whoever it is!!!

That is Isabella Muse from the website called Musings of a Muse.

Re: Best Eyeshadow EVER ... Finally!

How shadow looks on one person can really vary as to how it looks on another due to individual coloring. Isabella Muse looks to have much darker eye lid coloring than I do so I think it would appear quite differently on me. It will also vary on primer use and anything else used on the lids prior to applying the shadow.

I do like this desert color - I used a shadow by Lancome for probably 10 years before they discontinued it and it was so nice to have a go-to shade that worked for day or night that I could always depend on. It was a fabulous neutral in a silvery plum-gray tone, not too dark or light, and quite a few of my friends all used the same shade. It just adapted well to so many different skin tones.

Hahaha...you missed my intro to that photo: "I checked it out on musingsofamuse. Seeing the shade on her eyelids, I don't think it would flatter me at this point in my life:"

Btw, you definitely would not kill for my eyebrows, if you can call them that. {#emotions_dlg.scared}
