Beauty Purchases This Past Week; 4/2/26

Good morning Beauties! Nothing like an earthquake at 1:42am to wake one up! Anyone else in the Bay Area feel it? It wasn't that strong - 4.6, I think - nor did it last long but it was enough to send my poor kitty under the bed and for the alarm to go off on my phone. Was able to go back to sleep ok but did stay awake for a bit to see if there would be any aftershocks.

What beauty items did you purchase this past week? If you've had a chance to try it, let us know how you like it or maybe you don't?

My list:

Medicube - Exosome Shot Zero 2000. After watching The Doctorly video and giving it some thought, I never even tried it. It's tossed and in the trash. Decided this product is not for me.

Maybelline - Bought another Serum Lipstick in Upstate and the matching lip liner. I like this shade a lot for times when I don't necessarily want a lot of color but still want a little something on my lips.

Eyelash Curter - Electric heated eyelash curler. Have received it but haven't tried it yet. Been busy and haven't bothered to open the box and charge it. Will do so today and probably use it tomorrow or over the weekend. Will report back on how I like it.

I did not buy a single thing from Beauty Spring Sale from Amazon after browsing for days. I have come a long way. These sales always got me, not this time!

However I did purchase from YesStyle. I was avoiding K-beauty sites since the tariff fiasco. But after reading up on this, I purchased a couple of items just to feel the tariff situation. Hopefully I won't be charged any additional fee by the shipping carrier.

Kisocare - Azelaic Acid Cream - I have been wanting to try a higher percentage of azelaic acid. Azelaic acid sweet spot is 15-20%. I found this J-beauty brand that has great reviews. More is not always better but I got the 20% anyway.

I need to be more diligent with my sunscreen. I got SKIN1004 - Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum, new to me!

I also got Nakery's Neck & Dec Serum from HSN

Hope everyone is doing well today and looking forward to seeing what all the beauties here post. I'm trying not to buy too much stuff since I need to use up a lot of what I have:

Gatineau Glow Gradual Self Tanning lotion (home and away). This is probably the second self tanner (tan Towel being the other) that doesn't make me splotchy and looking like a pinto. It goes on well and I let it dry while I wash my face, brush my teeth and all that. It hasn't come off on my clothes or sheets. I plan to re-purchase.

Fomin deodorant wipes with Japanese persimmon (good for old people odor) that can be used on one's perineum too. Wipes are organic cotton and individually sealed in packets. Haven't opened one yet but other products from this line have been good.

Londontown: Pink Ridge Filler. It's on sale and I want a back up since I like it so much.

That's it for me guys! Had to smack my own hands every time I was reaching for another lip product at TjMaxx! Have more than enough to last me a long time. Best wishes to all!

Why is my purchase list always bigger than my used up/pitched list? 🤦‍♀️

Here's what happened -

Medicube Exosome Shot PDRN Pink Collagen 7500 PPM Spicule Serum - curiosity got me again. Originally I didn’t want another serum but the Amazon spring sale persuaded me. After the fact, I watched a YouTube video that caused me to have second thoughts so I returned it. I’m just too going to stick with my PDRN drops for now.

Guru Nanda Oxyburst Teeth Whitenjng Mouthwash Kit - this is an alcohol and fluoride free mouthwash that I was interested in. Advertising says 3 shades whiter as quickly as 2 weeks. We’ll see. I wasn’t paying attention but lo and behold, the kit comes with 2 tongue scrapers and 4 charcoal toothbrushes. I added the kit to my April subscription, all for $11.59. DH and I each have our own electric toothbrushes but we can use the freebie toothbrushes for when we want to travel light or I can donate them.

Numbizin No. 9 Skincare (toner, serum, and eye cream) - ordered for DD as she expressed the desire to get on a basic routine but didn’t know what to buy.

TEREZ & HONOR Peptide Collagen Under Eye Patches - as earlier reported, I’m enjoying these. I ordered a jar for DD.

Maree Under Eye Balm Stick - ordered one for DD.

Amazon Acetaminophen Caplets (100) - need to replace a bottle that’s going to expire. We seldom take pain meds so I buy for the smallest amount.

Gold Bond Age Renew Crepe Corrector Hand Cream - this brand is affordable and has a very good reputation. Added to my April subscription delivery.

Gacavks Electric Heated Eyelash Curler - after reading a conversation in the forum I was curious about this kind of eyelash curler but I didn’t want to spend $30 bucks. I found a similar style, rechargeable and good reviews, for less money. It’s here but I haven’t tried it yet.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Eau de Parfum Purse Spray - it’s been awhile since I wore AG so I thought I’d test a purse spray before buying a bigger bottle.
