Re: Beauty Purchases This Past Week; 4/2/26

Laura Mercier Ulta Blur Setting powder. Sells for $48.00 and I picked it up for $13.00 at TJ Max. I'm really enjoying using the tiny size I picked up awhile ago. It does a good job of staying all day and looking smooth. The "translucent honey" is perfect for my medium skin color.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Past Week; 4/2/26

I purchased Gold Bond Age Renew Duo:  Crepe Corrector Day and Retinal Night - $12.98.

I think when QVC had a TSV for Crepe Erase several posters recommended Gold Bond Duo as they had great results and great price for the products.   Honestly the first day I used these products my skin felt and looked so much better - looked very hydrated.   With summer coming and my showing more skin, I want to use this everyday so I purchased more!

I purchased and received today the TSV - No Make Up Make Up.   I have not  tried it yet, but I put a small amount on the top of my hand and it looks like I at least ordered the correct color.   I'll try it out tomorrow - keeping fingers crossed that it works as well as they say.   We'll see............

During the Ulta Sale, I purchased (not everything on sale):

Color WOW Curl SHOOK spray - for my stash.  I don't use this all the time, but I like to have it available for when I do want to use it.  I mostly use it when I do an abbreviated hair routine.

Saltair Golden Hour Oil-Infused Nourising Body Wash - I was at the end of the Naturium Glow Getter I was using and wanted to try something different.

Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Defrizzing Conditioner - Always looking for frizz control.  I tried it yesterday and rather liked the result.  Now, to see if that's a one-off or will be repeatable.  I also have an Amika defrizzing product I've used once and wasn't overly impressed.  I'll keep trying though until I come to a decision as to which is consistently better.

Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Restore + Revive Bi-Phase Spray - This is a defrzzer and curl reactivator, meant to be used on dry hair so I'll be trying it for 2nd day hair.  I usually spritz my hair down and then add some products to it.

AG Tousled Texture Body & Shine Finishing Spray - I just ran out of my Kenra texturizing spray so thought I would try this for texture and volume.  You spray this into your hands and work into your hair.

Belief Aqua Bomb - Frozen Cream - Supposed to give a cooling effect to skin and visibly reduce pores.  Gets mixed reviews especially about the cooling effect, but if it works for the pores I'll  be okay with it.

That's a lot for me (and my Ulta CC), so I'm going to have to put myself on a no-buy hiatus....well, except I just ran out of Biotin and my local Costcos don't have it.  I can still order it but I may need to add to the order to get the free shipping.  Stay tuned.

Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Air Dry Cream 5oz Duo item # A663216

Hi ladies! I got this a week or so ago during a free shipping on beauty items day from QVC.  This is a great deal: 2 full sized 5oz Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Air Dry Cream tubes for $37.98. Its normally $37 for just one tube at Bumble and Bumble or Sephora.

This works really well on my long and layered wavy hair.  I use this once a week to give my hair a break from roundbrush blow dryers and hair dryers. Its fun to rock my natural waves instead of doing a sleek/volumized wavy blowout each time. This is perfect for the Spring and Summer.

@SportyShorty07 thanks for the recommendation. I have naturally wavy hair that gets frizzy with humidity. Check this one - Kitsch Smoothing Air Dry Cream. I got influenced recently. They have a spring sale going on, 20% off coupon on their site & autoship is $12.80 for 5oz. They have other hair care items as well that get good reviews.

@FLGators You're welcome! Thank you for your recommendation too, FLGators! I'm definitely going to try the Kitsch Smoothing Air Dry cream 🙂.  Kitsch is a great brand; I use their scrunchies and hair elastics.  I love a good promo code- I'll look into this!
