Update:  Tried it again today.  Half side of my face I applied with my fingers, the other half with a sponge.  Both sides were awful - streaky, pilled so much, and just looked awful.  Back it goes.  Glad it works for some of you but for me, this was not good.

@JudyL - I'm so sorry it just didn't work. I think it's got to be something with that particular tube. I would return it marked defective. Sometime when you're in Ulta or Sephora try it out and see if it's any different.

I only tried it once and it was okay.  It's been very humid & rainy here and I won't wear a moisturizer in that kind of weather.  I'm waiting for a less humid day to test it out again.

I have this and it is way too yellow for me, even tho, supposedly, it is my shade. I have tried adding just a few drops in with the primer I use and it is not good---had 2 boxes and am ready to just toss them out----have the OG foundation powder that matches great but that was from a long time ago---I have been using this brand since the first time it came to QVC with Leslie and Lisa---a shame it can't be left alone by whoever bought the company out!!

I want to speak up in defense of the Complexion Rescue - I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.  I spent years trying so many "foundations" that I'd end up hating.  It's the perfect shade and consistency for my skin and daily SPF.  I "massage" the tube every 2-3 uses, I apply a small amount on the back of my hand, add a drop or two of facial oil then apply it to my face with my fingers.  Then I use the brush to finish and smooth it.  Leslie has always said "Put this on clean bare skin" because it's a moisturizer as well as color and sunscreen.  It helps to wait 10-15 minutes then check your skin - sometimes I use a little Balance & Glow to "set/finish" my face if it's not even enough.  I notice my complexion changes off & on - don't know why exactly but it does.  This product is not meant to be a pure foundation for coverage but it works really well for me as I've never found the "right" foundation except maybe the Bare Minerals loose powder.  They really get the shades right.
