@Goldengate8361

I always loved piecey bangs that you could wear forward or push back . I  still have oily acne prone skin at 57 so I could not  wear full bangs on my forehead. I have worn a pixie or longish pixie for the last 10 years or so . I have worn it off my face for a while now . This last haircut I asked my stylist to cut a few pieces that I could wear forward if i wanted . After a few days I realized my always fine hair looked finer and thinner  with pieces forward . My hair actually looks thicker and fuller with everything off my face . As much as I love those piecey looks and always gravitate to those haircuts , I realize they are no longer for me .

Have a great day !

I'm a bangs swept off to the side person myself.  I've had no bangs and don't care for the look on me.  I think it drags my entire face down and makes me look older.

My hair is short and layered - I have a high forehead and prefer how I look with side-swept bangs.

I have a really nice white streak over my left temple. It's cut to eyebrow length and I have 3/4 of it swept to right and the rest to the left.  A bit of gel to keep it in place.

I had layered bangs for many years.I finally let them completely grow out. Now I have one-length hair (fine and thinner than it used to be, but ok)---and I am tempted to get bangs again. I have a hair appointment next Saturday and I think I am just going to for a shorter bob. Now, it is collar bone length and I may go just below chin length. Do you like bangs? If you have a bob, what length works for you?

Surprisingly, that's exactly what I did last week!

Shoulder length, bangs too long and moved to the sides.

So I went zen, simple blunt cut bob with bangs!

Brought this photo to the gifted stylist but wanted even shorter:

But not as piecy!

A short blunt cut bob with bangs is turning out to be such fun.

Feels French (used to teach in Paris).

I've had bangs since Junior high school.  I have a very high forehead and just don't look right without them.

I've had bangs ever since!

@Goldengate8361   Absolutely love bangs.  I let my bangs grow out years ago and it was short lived.  I wen back to bangs which make any woman look younger.

@Katcat1   Truth in that, I suspect. I am back at bangs now (2 weeks) and love them.

I personally do not wear bangs though I have in the past.  The reason is that you really need a taller forehead to make it appear that you have balanced facial dimensions. I have a short forehead and bangs overwhelm my face.  I had to learn that and no longer wear them.
