Running a cosmetic contest on Facebook only! WHY can't you run it on regular sign-ins?

I think companies in general feel it's a scorecard -- the more likes on facebook the more popular or important you are in the public eye. A contest is one way of enticing you to join thus another tick on their page. It's all about the numbers.

QVC IS RUNNING IT! There's a thin ""banner"" running across when you go to the community pages --- weekly prizes and a grand prize. But only on their new ""category"" which turns out to be a facebook link.

Will not play that game! I think it is discriminatory. I have no desire to be on Facebook. They exclude many customers because of that requirement. Really makes me less and less interested in buying from QVC.
