Christina Cosmetics Perfect Pigment

Has anyone tried this? It's a compact with four colors to do your whole face. It looks really nice. I think it is mineral makeup but it is pressed instead of loose powders. I was on the web site and read the terms and am hesitant to purchase. I never purchase anything from infomercials. And the price goes up if you do not honor the mandatory two shipment auto-delivery plan. And I also read some buyer beware posts on the web. Having said all that, I am still curious. I saw one compact on ebay but missed out on it and nothing else is available right now on ebay or Amazon. If any of you can tell me your experience with the product/company I would love to hear from you. Thanks and Happy New Year.

Oh, I also meant to ask if you know of anything similar that can be purchased in the drugstore. Thanks again!

Re: Christina Cosmetics Perfect Pigment

I use it but stopped auto delivery after awhile because it is a full face of makeup and I don't wear full face that often. I just remarked to a friend the other day that one of our friends tells me hoe great I look. Also friend I was talking to commented on the lip gloss and she has never commented on how good any other lip stick or gloss looked. I have not had any difficulty at all with customer service.

periwinklerocket, I'm glad to read you have liked the product and had no trouble with their customer service. I am going to give it a try. I'm fair so I am going to get the Perfect Pigment 1. Thanks very much!

Re: Christina Cosmetics Perfect Pigment

I used it a while back. I no longer use any powders on my face since my skin is super dry, and now that I am over 50 I have switched to creams/liquids.

That said, it was a very good product. I loved the lip gloss and concealer that came with it. I remember it being sold on ShopNBC early last year but it went away quickly. I used added mascara, and maybe an eyeliner, and DONE!!!

The compact has 4 colors you swirl together but the real trick is to play with it to see which of the 4 colors you need more or less of to match your skin. The undertones are a little yellow on the #1 compact. The brush it comes with is also great for all the applications and detail.

As far as the customer service, I only did the "one time purchase" and was never put on any auto-delivery plan. But I'm not sure if that option still exists. If you are still interested in ordering it, I could suggest you get a Visa (or similar) pre-paid card and use that to buy a kit. That way, there is no personal account numbers they can just keep charging you. I have read that their CS is difficult to deal with, so I'd try another payment method.

Happy New year!

Re: Christina Cosmetics Perfect Pigment

The one time option is still available. I just clicked on order and found the different payment options there. It is $10 more with no commitment rather than the auto-ship of $40, which is more than Bare Minerals. They are also going by weight of product and not volume, so the loose powders do weigh less, but there is more product with them than the pressed powders because pressed weighs more.

I did use Bare Minerals and looked for a less expensive option and found everydayminerals.com Their minerals are better for my sensitive skin and cost way less, $12.95. I use that and a BB/CC cream for more coverage, sun screen and moisture for my skin. I don't like the feel of full coverage foundations and it is just too much on my sensitive skin. You can also mix moisturizer with your mineral power to make a tinted moisturizer with the benefits of mineral makeup.

I tried it several years ago and really liked it. Not sure why I did not re-purchase! It was very nice not too powdery and blending all of the colors really worked for me. My kit came with a lipgloss and something else-neither of which I liked, but the foundation was superb!!!!!!! When I am in need of another foundation, I may give this another try!!!!!

I tried it years ago. I believe they may have been on HSN at one time. Anyways, I liked everything in the kit and still have the brush. I would probably order again if it was on one of the shopping channels.
