Right now, blunt cuts with no layers and bangs are trending.
I have noticed that this style is also trending in Europe.

As long as I can remember I have always worn bangs, not heavy bangs but light wispy bangs, it fits my style, I don't care if bangs are in or out, I like the way I look with them.

I don't know about bangs but here in Florida all the young women are cutting their hair into a "bob" just above the shoulder length. I mean lots of them.
I can't believe they are cutting off their beautiful long locks. Most are straight but some with a little wave. Like a Meg Ryan type of look in some of her movies?
I've always detested bangs as it is too hot and humid down south
but they are so pretty on most in non humid climates and if you look good in them most importantly.
And by the way, the young boy's are getting cuts and then permanent's like our grandmothers used to get in the salons with Mom's watching. It replaced the "beatle" look of several years ago when they would shake their head from side to side...lolol.
The trend is above the neck , below the ears and curly for the teenagers. It's so cute. They look kind of embarrassed when I see them and smile in the salon's. Like help ---- can't we do this at home for pete's sake Mom?

@Pink123 , yes! My hairdresser and I were just talking about that. I walked into the salon one day...it is the large type with tons of different suites rented by different hair people, nails, all kind of things...anyway, I said ohmygosh, perm! I haven't smelled that in a salon in forever. She said yeah, and it the younger guys getting them now. That was the first I'd heard of it.

haha, @Wsmom yes for sure! But in my town they only will do these "keratin straightening treatments" outside. I'm serious!
It's a lovely area on where the yachts are parked Plus you get a nice ocean breeze to go with it. They would not allow the odor inside at all. I would bolt.
As far as the perm's with the cute young teenager's I went to a different salon for guy who does my color and I never smelled a thing.
I believe different chemicals are involved today and so not to worry with these new ingredient's.
But the teeangers, tall and skinny look adorable with these cute curly styles (still embarrassed...lol)

I do like (and sometimes wear) a side bang, but not the full frontal, all out bangs.

@San Antonio Gal - I don't think bangs are an in or out thing. They look good on some, not on others.

I don't know about in or out of style. I've always worn some sort of side bang. I can't do a stright band. It just won't happen. I have a natural part or cowlick at my hairline, so the hair just won't cooperate for a bang. Yet, my mother tried with that darn yearly pixie cut.

I've got a cowlick near the front of my hair, so if I want bangs I have to fight for them.
Right now, I have curtain bangs that I think I am growing out.

My grandson has a cut and I think it's called ice cream boy something like that something has to do with ice cream. He uses a curling iron and flips it up in the back.
My bangs are about 3/4 full and cut choppy and uneven. I love them
