It's seeing YTers applying mascara and liner with the same hand that freaks me out the most. It just looks like their doing it the hard way by crossing over their face and not using the same angle to apply. Oh well, nothing to lose sleep over Monica ![]()

I use my dominant hand for both sides. I too use brushes and that works best for me.

@monicakm RIGHT HAND ONLY. If I used my left I'd poke myself in the eye.
The ONLY TIME i ever used my left was when I broke my right elbow and the doctor said it would be a week to 10 days before I could move it so that I could feed myself with it and apply make up. I woke up 30 mins earlier for the first 3 days to put on my make up with my left hand.... dangerouse but deliberate!!!!! I was back up and functioning with my RIGHT hand in 4 days! This woman was DETERMINED!!!!!!!

@monicakm I favor my right hand so I use it more but I aslo left the left hand have some action. lol For my foundation I apply with fingers but then use my sponge to finish the job.

I tried this morning to use my left hand on my left eye, just a disaster even trying shadow base. I got a haircut and asked my stylist if she used both hands for application. NO, we both agreed that our right (dominant hand) is for precision work and we would just need to draw an x over our face with the left. My left hand is really good at holding the phone, my handbag..........

The only part of my hair that I cut is my bangs. I agree, using my left hand is harder but I do it. I discovered I use my left hand to spread mayo etc on sandwiches. So weird that I never really realized what I do with my left hand till I asked the question here about one or two hands for applying makeup (which comes very natural). DH writes left handed but does everything else right handed.
