I don't see anyone putting on mascara first.  I used to think I must be the only one but I have come across a few that say they do the same.  I get so much mascara on my lids, there is no way I could put on eyeshadow first.  Could never EVER put eyeshadow on before foundation.  So, my routine is...

Mascara (top only)

Wash hair

primer

foundation

under eye concealer

finishing powder

blush

eyeshadow

smudged liner on bottom

final coat of mascara on top and bottom

dry/style hair

brush teeth

lipstick

get dressed, accessorize, perfume

as far as makeup itself....eyes first. i have eyelash extensions which means no mascara.  i put eyeliner on my bottom lashes and shadow on top along with eyebrow powder.  btw, love the extensions and have had them for 3 years.  anyway, once, i finish my eyes i start the face which has already been moisturized, etc spf.  i wear bb or cc cream.  after i apply jamies cream blush, just a little and a little lipstick.

on the days i don't wear a bb or cc cream i wear a tinted moisturizer.  very simple.eyemakeup

I don't wear primer anymore. My face serum takes care of that and I can't stand that many layers, especially in the summer. So after my serum I use 

SPF

Foundation

Concealer (years ago I used my concealer before foundation but it just slips around if you do it before)

Eyeshadow

Liner

Highlighter

Lipstick or Gloss

Blush

A little powder if needed

This is if I am doing a full face. If not then a little tinted moisturizer with SPF, mascara, blush and gloss.

@mima I agree with you...I wear stain with a tinted lipbalm over it, and always apply the stain on my lips after foundation, and before using any color (I think it may even make a difference in how much eye makeup I apply). I save the tinted balm for the very last, though, so I don't smear it.

@monicakm That's interesting about doing your mascara 1st! My lashes, even though they are very dark, tend to kind of "disappear" when I put on makeup. I guess that's because I use so many powders, and they catch the fallout. One quick coat of mascara (underside of top lashes only) brings my lashes back out.

According to your list, you put on your first coat of mascara and then wash your hair?

suzyQ3, that's right.  I'm sure you assume I wash my hair in the shower.  I don't.  And I've been applying my mascara before washing my hair for so long, I don't remember why I started doing it in that order LOL  Something to do with "timing" and having my hair up in a twisted towel.  It's complicated <g>
