Re: Anyone use Bamboo Tea Tree?

I tried it and it doesn't work for me at all. It leaves my hair too dry and I don't like the scent. Even when I mix it with Fig, my hair feels dry compared to when I combine Fig with other formulas. I will not repurchase.

Re: Anyone use Bamboo Tea Tree?

BGT is not my favorite for my longish, fine, thick, moisture loving curly locks. I didn't love the scent as much as I was expecting to and it leaves my hair a bit dry. Nothing too terrible but it doesn't give me the va-voom of my favorites.

I love the scent, but my hair reacts differently sometimes when I use it. I was never able to figure out the cause. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's not.

Re: Anyone use Bamboo Tea Tree?

I recently posted how much my hair has grown in a few short weeks with the BGT. I started incorporating it in my first cleanse in place of TT just for a change. My DD has been using it exclusively too and it really popped all her natural highlights. Her hair is bouncier and fuller too.

Re: Anyone use Bamboo Tea Tree?

BGT dries my hair out. I also just think I can't spend this kind of money for a scent that smells like a shampoo. The others are spa like, but I don't feel that way about BGT. That said, it's great with my Clarisonic on my face. But at that rate it lasts practically forever.

Re: Anyone use Bamboo Tea Tree?

I think BGT is a hit or miss formula for most people.......I don't think that any formulas are really and truly "universal" in the way that they're presented. For me, I can use BGT occasionally. It gives me decent body and nice shine, but it's drying for my hair with extended use. It contains the additional amino acids like 613 and the seasonals, and my hair doesn't tolerate those well. It much prefers the traditional wheat formulas.

I do like the scent, but I'm not as in love with it as I once was (maybe the novelty of a new formula has worn off, lol). Since I have other formulas that work well consistently, I will probably not repurchase.
