Anyone tried Lavanilla deoderant?

I use Toms of Maine and it is okay but always looking for something better. I love the crystal deodorant because no matter how much I sweat there is absolutely no odor but now my armpits are black from using it. Now I need something to lighten my armpits and of course a good deodorant.

I've used it and liked it. Will probably purchase again.

A bit pricey for what it is but it works and has a very nice scent, leaves no residue on your clothes-try it.

I thought it was nice but I don't care for scented deodorants and only wore this when I was wearing the matching body lotion and perfume. Otherwise, I could smell it and felt it interfered with my other fragrances.

Re: Anyone tried Lavanilla deoderant?

It gave me a terrible red rash that was not itchy, but did become painful. (A lot of reviewers on Sephora report the same thing.) I was really sad about that because it did seem to work to prevent odor. I even tried a second scent, in case it was the scent that I was reacting to. Same rash. Because of that and because of how many others reported the same rash in reviews I've read, I can't recommend it.

Wow, I've been using the Crystal deodorant for over 10 years and it hasn't changed the color of my armpits. I've heard of aluminum in antiperspirants causing black stains on clothing, but never any deodorant causing black stains in the armpits. Sorry this happened to you.

Someone on the boards recommended Schmidt's deodorant. It is AWESOME and the only aluminum free, cruelty free deoderant and antiperspirant I've used that actually works. It comes in a jar with a little spatula and you only need to use a little bit so the little jar should last quite awhile. There is an unscented one too.
