Really, make your own make-up? Why? There are TONS of brands. Life's too short. It's time consuming enough to apply make-up daily, let alone make it.
Thought QVC's Christmas shows were terrible! Unwatchable. Just play music and let it be QVC.

The video is fun to watch, but I'm not motivated enough to do everything she did.
The most I've done is pour alcohol directly into a cracked eye shadow or pressed powder. This fixes the problem and doesn't dry me out like she said alcohol would in the video.
I don't know why she said that about the alcohol because it evaporates. Just don't use rubbing alcohol because that contains some other ingredients, for instance fragrance and lanolin, which might not mix well with the powders and it might make your powder less desireable.

I watched Antonella making makeup and it was interesting but not anything I would ever do. But I must say she looked fantastic with her new haircut and more natural color! That blond hair made her look very old IMP. Hope she keeps it!!

I missed the segment on Q but streamed it from her Facebook page. Antonella always makes me smile. 😊
I enjoyed the holiday programming and hope Q does more of those videos in the future.

@bargainsgirl - this video was made January 2019 when Antonella had darker hair. In other words, she's still a blonde.

Ya....she looks much better in the video with dark hair/highlights. As for the mixing squishing paste into compacts....no I won't be doing that LOL! The compacts she had were very pretty....like those.

She looks so pretty in that video. It was fun to watch. It was like she was a friend and you were just on the other side of the table learning how to make all that.

Fun? Creativity? Something unique and different with your own personal favorites blended together, I used to mix moisturizers with foundations that might have been too dark to lighten them up. I also added in essential oils to make my own combinations, Why not?

@Wowzah wrote:I LOVED watching Antonella making powder compacts and lipsticks!! I wish QVC would do more of these crafting videos with links at the end for the craft supples! Much prefer this type of selling! I wish QVC had a craft channel just for this purpose! The videos on Christmas day were wonderful! Thank you!
@Wowzah The several times I've changed channels, Courtney had interviews in different cities, had nails done by nail artist in Miami, entrepreneurs in Canada...much more interesting than regular Q programs. If stayed like this, I'd tend to watch more. Maybe alternate with an hour of items to purchase, but the non-informercial format? Refreshing.
@Shanus: I enjoyed Courtney Casson's interview series as well. It would be a refreshing change if QVC aired her interviews on a regular basis.
