Animal testing and killing animals is sickening and offensive????, but killing the unborn is the law. Something is wrong here.

Thanks for the info, however, I find that there is a lot of misrepresentation in the list of companies claiming do they not test on animals. Maybe they don't actually do animal testing, but they use animal products - so really what's the difference? when their products are made from animals who have suffered unimaginable pain? Mally uses sable and ponyhair for her make-up brushes? Angora is pulled off living rabbits. Iman uses calfhair, lamb leather, cowhide. Just sayin.

NYCGRL makes a point in that alot of these so-called "cruelty free" companies still KILL animals for ingredients in their products so if you care not only about not testing products on animals (i.e. torturing them) but are also against KILLING them for ingredients in beauty products, you should do further research. For example, someone above mentioned IT cosmetics being "cruelty free" but IT cosmetics uses animal-derived ingredients.

I really don't get how we can label something "cruelty-free" but can still kill an animal for the ingredients in that product. It boggles my mind.

Thanks ladies for enlightening me. I guess I need to do more extensive research on what I choose to use. I would NEVER condone Using or Killing animals for any reason on this Topic. Thanks for your feedback!

P.S. I know for a fact Mally will not respond about her brushes being animal hair/fur. Someone else on this board tried to find out when she had her TSV with the eye shadows. I did do my research and learned that the brush was sable and I will never purchase her products again (not even a lip gloss). At least own it. Don't state on TV "never tested on animals" as you hold a fur make-up brush in your hand. That gets my blood boiling.

Thanks NCYGRL for the info. I guess my question now is, how do we know for sure, 100% that these Companies do not use animals in anyway for their products? Please let me know where I can get accurate information. It would be greatly appreciated! Because, on this site from Paula's Choice, Mally was on the "Do Not Test List". This is very confusing.

I agree, it gets confusing. I am starting to research some companies that are vegan type companies. I don't need anything now but going forward, I am buying no products that are tested on animals or made from animals. ...or at least do the best I can with the info I have.

Its Chinese law that any product used on a human must be tested on Animals first. Further it is a communist country. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a communist country to change a law?
