There was a clinical trial conducted in Japan on phytoceramides, and rice derived was superior to wheat derived. FYI 🙂
Must be a reason Andrew chose to use the wheat over the rice formula. He has probably mentioned it during his shows but I have not watched in a while.
It may be a supply chain issue. Lipowheat ceramide is in greater supply and it should be easier for him to get the quantity he needs, consistently, to produce enough product for his big HSN audience.

'Lipowheat' is just a registered trademark name for ceramides derived from wheat. I've been looking around at the various sources for ceramides and that one seems to be very popular.
I just ventured out from Lipowheat and purchased a phytoceramides supp derived from sweet potatoes and rice. Most Lipowheat supps seem to be getting more expensive every time I turn around. The sweet potato/rice is more affordable and is suppose to be just as effective...I'll see how it goes.

I just ordered that product! Well, maybe a different brand than yours. But the one I ordered on Amazon is made from sweet potatoes and rice. It was only $25 for 200 capsules, 350mg each. I can't wait to get it and start using it.

Yes, @Grouchomarx , I think I got the same one you did. The brand is NusaPure. It says to take 2 caps daily, totalling 700mg of phytoceramides. My other (Lipowheat) supp says 1 350mg cap daily...so I'll see how the new 700mg daily goes. Looking forward to it! Can't beat that price.

Many brands use rice and sweet potatoes, not wheat.
