@monicakm  I wouldn't ask for a company to replace something I ruined.  I believe that items are my responsibility once they are in my care.  If something is defective and the defect does not come to light until later (like a vehicle recall), that is something different.  Me damaging my own possessions is not something someone else is responsible for.

It's not okay to sell someone something, not send it, and then tell the person you can only remedy your mistake if they pay you more money.  That's not just poor customer service, it's unethical behavior.

I know it's not going to change many people's minds to hear about it, but I'm stating my opinion anyway.

@mistriTsquirrel

I know, I know!  And you're right, I really had no right to ask and fully expected to be told "sorry madam, there is nothing we can do".  But have to admit, I was totally impressed that they said yes.  It was when I went to look for it that I discovered it was my old cuff (they are identical except for the small model number printed on the bottom right corner).  I'm not at all offended by you stating your opinion.

To my knowledge Amazon never makes you return make-up items.  I've had to return 2 and both times was told to toss them and they immediately issued a refund.

I too have been burned by a fake product and it was sold and fulfilled by Amazon.

I know full well there are fake products on Amazon, Amazon is told about them and they don't do a thing to remove the products so I am very leery of ordering beauty products from Amazon. If the price on something is too good to be true, it's quite possibly fake.
