@caheff  - Can you describe the scent?

I caved last night and ordered but still doubting myself. I don't like AG Magnolia which it has been compared with on FB as sort of similar. I think from the notes in it sound like a mix of Unconditional Love without the vanilla note and Ballet Rose, but we'll see.

Maybe, they should've call this fragrance something other than Amazing Grace Intense?  I stopped wearing AG fragrance about 20 or so year ago, because scents with musk just don't agree with my body chemistry anymore & really turn funky on my skin.  They smell fine in my hair, but once they get on my skin, it's really not good.

I haven't smelled AG in years, but I don't recall there being a berry note in it, so I don't know why they didn't call it something like AG Berries.  With them calling it AG Intense, it makes it sound like they took regular AG, which is floral with musk & amped itup & made it stronger or more long lasting & not added in a whole new fragrance note that was never in the original.

I've been wearing AG off and on since it came out. This reminds me of FIL mor than AG. It's fruity and seems to stay with me.

Well, mine arrived today, fast for a change. Will have to test for at least a few days. First impression - definitely nothing like Amazing Grace or any other scent of Philosophy's or anyone elses that I have tried. Not strong smelling, I doused myself and can't smell much, and what I smell doesn't correlate to any of the listed notes. Not rose or berries or anything recognizeable. I believe it's the fruit notes that to me have an almost furniture polish, just waxed some furniture with a bare hint of citrus haze to it. I don't even know how I feel about it yet. Not hate or instant love. This is going to sound weird, but after a few hours, when I put my nose against my arm (only way to detect it at all) it smells like heat. Like after an incandescent bulb is shut, like the sun on your skin, as if "warm" has not only a sensation but a slight scent. I will report further findings this week.

I didn't care for it at all and sent it back.  I do not smell strawberries at all.  It, to me smells very harsh.  It instantly gave me a headache which rarely happens with a scent.  I had hopes of it smelling like Victoria's Secret Strawberries and Champagne, light and fruity.  It wasn't even close.

@4kitties You must have found a good batch if you had a smell of Amazing Grace when you got home.  I can spray at the front of the store in Ulta  and by the time I get to the back of the store the fragrance is gone, poof...........

The only one I ever liked was Pure Grace. Original.

Coty has totally ruined the original Amazing Grace and Pure.  I used to alternate between the two.  They were both beautiful and I ALWAYS got a compliment so you know the scent lasted.  I will never buy again.  I have been using Guerlain and I am looking to try some of Korres scents.  They get pretty good reviews.

Re: Amazing Grace Intense

@Wobin  I mentioned on here quite a while ago that I had found, what I consider, a great long lasting dupe for Amazing Grace perfume.  It is made by Nature's Oil.  I believe they sell it on Amazon, too.  I quit looking for dupes after this. Amazing Grace was one of my favorites and with this oil .....still is!
