During the Philosophy show today, they announced the launch of Amazing Grace Intense.  The host and guest didn't describe it as smelling the same as the original.  I am hoping it will last longer but am concerned it will just be a stronger level of scent.  I am wondering if this is being introduced to counter all the criticism of the original Amazing Grace since Coty bought Philosophy and changed my favorite fragrance.

Has anyone had the opportunity to try this yet?  I hate to spend $55 only to find it's a different scent and then pay $7 to return it.

Since I already have about 15 different philosophy fragrances, shower gels, lotions, sprays etc I am going to pass for now and wait at least for the reviews. I went to the philosophy website to see by chance if it was there but it's not ( I know Kirsten said it was the initial launch, just thought I would check)

Say hello to philosophy's newest entry in amazing grace fragrances and lean into the power of juicy berries, vibrant rose, and musk. Discover a new level of grace with amazing grace extraordinary eau de parfum intense. A concentrated fragrance level that wears beautifully, it invites you to embrace every aspect of your individuality. Stand tall, share your voice, and be noticed -- because grace is extraordinary, and so are you.

Modern, vibrant, and intense, amazing grace extraordinary will empower you to step into the best version of yourself with a beautiful pink bottle and aroma of a blended bouquet of wild strawberry, fresh raspberry, and rose absolute.

How do I use it: Spray fragrance onto a clean, dry body, avoiding direct eye contact.

Copied from the Q site, sounds like a totally different scent than orginal AG.

Thanks for the heads up, I will wait for the reviews.  Philosophy lost me a long time ago..the new company ruined the scents.

I checked the the Philosophy site as well for the same reason and learned they have 30% off sitewide this weekend.

@Wobin

I would love to think this has the same fragrance as the original, but I will wait to smell it in person at Sephora or Ulta.  I do not want to pay to return it.

The last time I sprayed a new Amazing Grace, I could not wait to get home and wash it off.  It did not smell like the original at all.

@Wobin ,

Hello. No one has this yet, as it was just introduced today. I can tell you that I follow the Philosophy rep on Facebook, and this is definitely a different scent from the original Amazing Grace. There are notes in this new one such as Rose absolute, wild strawberry, and fresh raspberry. These are not in the original. Hope this helps.

Yes, very helpful.  I'll have to wait until I can try it in a store.  Thank you.

If it's not exclusive to QVC, perhaps you can try it at a retail store that carries Philosophy (Ulta, Macys, Dillards, etc)
