Don't come at me, this is MY opinion.  I must be spoiled by ordering from the big A.  When I order from there, I get my purchase in 3 days, maybe 4, but usually the next day.  Yes, I know they have multiple warehouses to ship from.  This is where QVC falls waaaay short.  I ordered the Algenist eye cream during the show back on Aug. 12th.  It sat In Process for 4 days.  Then all of a sudden it was Preparing Your Order on the 5th day and then yesterday it Shipped all of a sudden.  It won't get to me until Aug 23.  Wth?  When I first ordered, it was maybe going to get here on the 19th.  Ok, I accepted that.  But it was presented on-air when I ordered it.  I didn't randomly pick it from the website.  If I knew it was shipping from across the US, I wouldn't have ordered it.

Do better QVC.  This shipping time is ridiculous.

This is why I stopped ordering from Q.  They need to get with the times.  If I'm spoiled by other companies, then so be it.

Re: Almost 2 weeks for delivery?

@snipsnapsnur   Nothing has been done to improve the shipping situation in many years...one reason I stopped ordering.

One day at the end of July (I know that because it was the day it was charged on my Visa card) I happened to see a sweater I liked from PLW. I ordered and waited and waited and waited. It showed up August 16. The order date was changed to Aug. 4th on the email that said the item was shipped...probably to make it seem it had not been that long.

I loved the sweater, but sent it back on principle. There's no reason any item should be in process without the ability to cancel and take that long to ship and receive. That's IT for me.

The big "A" runs their emplyoees to the ground! I understand that we live in a society that has an instant gratification mentality and needs everything today, but I will not ever support them! I can wait and if I can't for some reason, I'll pay for express shipping

Re: Almost 2 weeks for delivery?

It's not just the Big A. Many companies have quick shipping. Even 2 or 3 business days is better than QVC. Maybe their shipping model was fine 20 years ago, but with all the competition now their shipping time is a huge problem. You cannot order something if you need it in a rush. Most other places also offer FREE SHIPPING if you spend a certain amount, which IMO is another problem for the Q. Having a free shipping "sale" one weekend a month is not impressive.

What a waste of return shipping!  I doubt QVC was 'taught a lesson' ....

We have all been around long enough to know QVC can run 2 wks or more.....a sweater was needed super fast?

Additionally, we are NOT charged when we place the order.  We are charged when it ships.  Anything earlier is a preauthorization that ALL companies do to be sure you have the ability to actually pay for it.

That charge drops off.

I tried Prime for a month and my orders took a week to get to me.  I don't have Prime anymore, so even my Amazon orders don't come for two weeks.

I don't expect anything to come from QVC in a week or less.  I can see when I order what the estimated delivery should be.  Since they've been delivering via UPS straight to my home I've gotten all orders on time or before their estimated delivery dates.

I don't think QVC can afford to give faster shipping with their current financial situation.

In order to get the advantage of using Prime, you have to make sure what you're ordering is available for Prime.  Some things aren't.  I've not had a problem with Prime.

Re: Almost 2 weeks for delivery?

To be clear, I wasn't ordering because I needed the item in a hurry.  My complaint is that the shipping times are ridiculously long.

@RespectLife   Crazy as it may sound, it taught me the lesson to not purchase here.
