Don't come at me, this is MY opinion. I must be spoiled by ordering from the big A. When I order from there, I get my purchase in 3 days, maybe 4, but usually the next day. Yes, I know they have multiple warehouses to ship from. This is where QVC falls waaaay short. I ordered the Algenist eye cream during the show back on Aug. 12th. It sat In Process for 4 days. Then all of a sudden it was Preparing Your Order on the 5th day and then yesterday it Shipped all of a sudden. It won't get to me until Aug 23. Wth? When I first ordered, it was maybe going to get here on the 19th. Ok, I accepted that. But it was presented on-air when I ordered it. I didn't randomly pick it from the website. If I knew it was shipping from across the US, I wouldn't have ordered it.
Do better QVC. This shipping time is ridiculous.

I know------took 2 full weeks from the day I ordered an item until I finally just got it. I am not ordering much anymore---and this is one of the reasons why. Am thinking this is the way it will be going forward--for every retail ---and I can't imagine what the holidays are going to be like--my advice---buy your gifts NOW!!!!

i've had no issues with shipping times because
i don't order anything needed soon,
in the event i need something soon i order elsewhere.
i would not be happy if i order something needed soon only to have it delayed.

@snipsnapsnur I never order anything from any online vendor if I need it quickly. My orders at Amazon also take an average of 3-4 days, a few times it took a couple weeks. If I need something I can't find locally and I would really like it quickly, I will cross my fingers and order from Amazon.
I really don't get the continued complaint of slow shipping with QVC. I have been a customer since 1986, they've never been known for quick shipping.
I agree with @TheMemphisVette , I only order items from QVC and HSN that are not needed at any particular time. I said this previously, I order it and forget about it until I receive a shipping notice. I rarely go back and even check the order status. Anybody that doesn't want to wait for their items beyond a week or two should not order from QVC. However, I must say, my last 30 items I ordered have all been shipped within 3 days with the exception of one.

I tried Prime for a month and my orders took a week to get to me. I don't have Prime anymore, so even my Amazon orders don't come for two weeks.
I don't expect anything to come from QVC in a week or less. I can see when I order what the estimated delivery should be. Since they've been delivering via UPS straight to my home I've gotten all orders on time or before their estimated delivery dates.
I don't think QVC can afford to give faster shipping with their current financial situation.

I also don't understand the long shipping on some items. I ordered pretzels, and they processed for 8 days. Then Tuesday they said they shipped. Suppose to be here tomorrow, Thursday. We will see. Many times when I order jewelry I expedite it if it isn't over the top cost. It is here in 2 days. So they CAN DO IT! When I do 2 day ship, next day it is in process, later that day it ships, and voila' it's here in the 2 day period. If I order regular, it processes for a week, then ships....and that can take 4 days to week..depending on the age of the mule they pack it on, lol!

I never compare to Amazon. I pay yearly for their delivery service so don't factor them against any other retailer.
But QVC's slow delivery compared to other online retailers doesn't help their bottom line. And while there is seldom anything I need in a timely manner I realized recently that if an item took so long to arrive that I had forgotten I had even ordered it, well, that's not a good sign.

If my QVC items ship from back East - I'm in the Bay Area in CA - then they do take a while to get here but the good thing is that they ship faster. If they ship from Southern California, they can sit in "preparing your order" or up to 12 days and then ship. Not sure which one is worse.

doesn't QVC charge is when we order? I see the charge right away on acct. I am wondering the interest they collect with everyone's money . Longer it sits, more they get. I am sure this is not what they mean to do, but it could happen. Also, if they have our return in warehouse a week or two before check is releases thats Moe pre time. I am sure it is because they are working with basic numner of employees, and it takes a while to get things done.

QVC does not charge your account until the item ships. Anything seen on a charge I suspect is a pre-authorization charge and depending on the financial institution will fall off after a few days.
