Absolute Jasmine $25000 a pound ?

According the Tova the price of absolute jasmine is skyrocketing. Is there any perfume left that contains absolute jasmine in its purest form? I love jasmine but was turned off when Tova Signature began using synthetics. Love the scent of jasmine even in tea.

I buy jasmine essential oil but most of what I can find is blended with carrier oils. Even with it diluted, it is extremely expensive. Same goes for pure rose essential oil. So expensive. The last time I bought absolute jasmine it was 1/2 ounce bottle for $80.

From what you are saying Tovas math does not add up. An ounce costs $160 and since there are 16 ounces in a pound it would mean a pound is $2560. Maybe that is because it is not in its pure form as you suggest. Tova only sources the finest absolute jasmin from France.
