Thx for starting a thread about the POSITIVE aspects/experiences with the new forum.

I really like the new tablet/mobile functionality: creating paragraphs, text font options, easy ability to upload photos.

We also have visibility to the list of posters logged in/active. Does anyone know if we can ping a poster or send a private message?

Glad to see the deletion of the vendor sub forums. And more active engagement by moderators to assist with questions/input. Well done!

Appreciate reading the other benefits of the new forum that posters are discovering. Very helpful. Cheers!!!

As for pinging or PMs, I'm not aware that they are currently included.

@suzyQ3, you can find who is on line by selecting Forums & Blogs under the Community Menu and scroll down. It is immediately under Featured Topics.

I think the "pinging" might mean getting notifications when someone uses @ nic in a post, which does not work, btw.

You can also change your settings so that it doesn't show when you are online.

What I don't get it one of the options is to only show if you are online to "friends" but there is no way to identify one as a "friend" so????

Can someone check and see if you can see if I am online. I have my setting turned off so you shouldn't but I want to know if any of their setttings are truly working.

Is this you HappyDaze, I have tried to figure out this new stuff but I think my posts are everywhere...I see Wen things in the Beauty section, Beauty things in the Wen section, it was nice knowing you all if I never figure it out!...Sounds like you are doing good with it tho...
