@SleeplessinSD - Your decorations sound perfect.

This morning I went to the gym and then went in search of a new Christmas tree skirt as I put the one you all saw in the picture away.  Didn't find one in the store so ordered one from Amazon.  Will be here Wednesday with something else I added to the order.  

It is very chilly here.  To me, it feels like a damp cold.  Which I guess makes sense since I live close to the SF Bay.  Hoping if I get moving around the house doing some chores, etc., that I'll warm up.  Wishing everyone a good Monday and hope it is treating you gently.  I remember when I was working how much of a struggle some Mondays were.

Hi to all...happy Monday!!

 Been a good weekend...productive for me, and peaceful too.

Getting walks in every day .

 Today I baked annisette biscotti with chocolate chips for my daughter...shes obsessed with them, lol.  Then we met at the outlets,  and shopped in several stores.

We now have a Trader Joes,  I wanted to check out.

Last I stopped in Walmart for a few items.

 Daughter had her ultrasound this morning...they're watching her lymph nodes since the melanoma.   We are still waiting for results on the the last surgery about a week ago...hopefully they got it all out.   The area is bothering her, looks red, irritated...so we're dressing it, and keeping it clean and airy....told her to let the Dr know if it continues. 

@SleeplessinSD ....I saw your post about concerns for your nephew and sister...im praying for God's mercy, and strength  🙏

 My grandson spent the entire 4 days with my oldest daughter,  so im relieved and happy for him...he had a great time, and they saw the movie Zoology. 

He told everyone he's missing us, so im going to see what I can plan. 

  Our lights are all up...and yes it's beginning to look alot like Christmas 🎄. 

I'm getting some shopping done too.

hi all. Ezra got sick over the weekend (URI with a cough and runny nose) so we've had him all day yesterday and today. he'll probably go back to school tomorrow. he wore his Halloween costume (a police uniform, complete with plastic hand cuffs) and had DH under arrest for most of the day

it has been so cold here for the last 48 hours and I have been about to freeze to death! this morning I woke up with a headache and a slightly sore throat, so maybe that's why I'm freezing.

we put up the Christmas tree last night and Ezra helped me decorate it today, which explains why most of decorations are on the lower half of the tree in the front. but that's OK, he had fun putting the ornaments on the tree and was so proud of himself.

it's 40 degrees this evening, so I made a good 'ol cold weather supper of chili and cornbread.

Good Early Morning!

I hope this finds everyone doing well.
Nothing exciting going on here. Finished, for the most part, my Christmas shopping. I just have a few gift cards to buy. Our weather's been on the cool side.  The older I get, the harder it is to keep warm. I'm always cold. I guess I need to move more, lol!

Yesterday was Giving Tuesday. I donate every year to our San Diego Food Bank. For some reason, the day got away from me, so I did it first thing today. So many people and families that are struggling and in need.  Every little bit counts.

@Dazlin , I'm keeping your daughter in my prayers too. I hope she gets good news and feels better soon. We also have a Trader Joe's near us. Haven't been there for a while. It's always busy and parking is terrible. Take care..

@MariotaMurielle , I hope you and Ezra are feeling better today..

Hi all....just finished a long walk...very warm here, and i really didn't feel like going, but it's done and im glad.

I think im finished with my grandson's gifts...ordered 2 Pokémon toys, and 1 is a large lego...he loves.  Yesterday hubs and I went to Ross and bought him a boxing punch bag, a Drone, and an outdoor soccer set...the only thing id like to find is a bathrobe for him.

  My daughter that had the melanoma removed is going to have to see her dr...its not healing well and it's bothering her.  I'm waiting today if she got in, or I said to go to urgent care.  Her ultrasound is good on lymph nodes, thank God.

  My youngest did not get the kitchen remodeling job...but at least she's working with her current job.  I think it picked up a bit.  I'm kinda relieved though, because she has some flexibility with her time.  So she's able to pick up my grandson after school,  and some days she can work from home.

 @MariotaMurielle , sorry your little guy is sick, and now your not feeling too well.

When my grandson lived with me, I honestly was sick every other month...very sick...fever, and horrible coughing and i had to take care him regardless.   That was rough.  They get everything when they start daycare and school.

Hope you both get better soon....he sounds so cute with that police uniform and your hubby under arrest...I like that idea 🤔

Good afternoon. Sunny & in the upper 30's here. Yesterday's storm was mostly a rain event. My son who lives in Portland, ME got snow. 

Today I finally got a hold of someone at eye doctor's to schedule my cataract surgeries. This will happen in February a week apart. 

Medical clearance will be in January.

had my last appt with foot insert guy-he said all was ok with insert he said i should have yearly checks with him to make sure foot inserts (2 of them) are in good shape.

got in 1 walk today-did the long walk

it was a gray, cold, rainy day today. we had Ezra again. he told his mother that he still didn't feel good this morning but she thinks he really just wanted to be at Grammy & Pops house today instead of going to school. we made Christmas cookies today and let him decorate them. he was so proud of himself. 

I'm feeling much better, no more sore throat but just tired.
