really nothing new here

we got about 2 inch snowfall with last night snow storm further north you went the heavier it was.

did get morn walk in

that is about all for now later guys

gotten colder too

when is this lousy winter going to end so tired of this cold and snowy weather.

Good evening. Lots of sun today but temps remained below freezing so if the snow wasn't removed, it sat in place. Our area got I think 4" Further south of us got maybe 2". 

I made today for dinner black beans & rice. I doctored a can of black beans using sautéed green peppers, minced garlic & diced onion in olive oil. I added ground cumin & a few bay leaves. 

I had defrosted 2 Perfect Portions Perdue chicken breasts yesterday & I sprinkled Penzey's Southwest Seasoning over them yesterday. Today I used my cooktop grill pan & they got nice grill marks on them. I added some fresh cilantro on top before serving & also on the rice. A margarita & that was my dinner.

Hung out today admiring the snow. 

Tomorrow I will go out on errands. I hope my caulk for the kitchen tile comes in before I head to that town for a brief doctor appointment. 

That will save me a 2nd trip if it comes in later in the week. 

An item I've been tracking has come back into stock at Home Depot -- a wall mounted stainless steel 4 bar clothes dryer. It swivels so I can hang hangers on it instead of moving clothes that air dry to the shower rod. 

Once it arrives, I will have to decide if it goes behind one of the doors or on a wall. I will ask one of my sons to come by & assemble it or scr@w it on the wall or door.

Im so glad regular TV programming is back on. I had a terrible time finding something to watch yesterday. I watch two soap operas, and both were cancelled! We did finally watch the Ohio State Notre Dame game with Ohio state winning championship 34-23...a great game!

Our granddaughter went back to school on Sunday. We were worried until she arrived because of the bad weather in NY. She texted when her plane landed saying it was raining. The snow arrived after she got back to her dorm room...she loved watching it fall from her window..

@MariotaMurielle , did Ezra get his first look at snow? 20 degrees is cold!

I laughed, too, at you're having trouble getting up from the beanbag. I can't even imagine how difficult, and funny, that would be. I really try and limit any time on the floor. My knees are of no help, and unless I have something or someone to hold on to, it's so difficult. 
I hope your DH's pain has lessened. That suction sounds awful, poor guy!

Southern US is getting the snow we normally get. It's still the coldest day here in a long time. DH said only eight people are at cards, so they can't have their typical Tuesday tournament. They'll just play cards for money. No doubt the police chief will come in and give them a hard time, but it's all done in jest. They are all retired geezers playing for quarters.

@SleeplessinSD  - I had a hard time finding something to watch yesterday also.  Ended up watching Hallmark movies and then watching ION FBI reruns.

Had PT this morning. No improvement, holding steady.  Which is not really what they want.  I'm not near the bend in that knee that the Dr wants.  Guess I need to step up my game a bit.  I'm now icing my knee and will see about a short walk later if I feel up to it.

I still have my roomie.  DD's apartment isn't quite ready yet.  She may come and get Willow tonight anyway as she's able to stay there.  The place is just a bit of a mess as furniture had to be moved, etc., and they still need to replaster or is it sheetrock the holes they made and repaint.

Not much else to report.  Have a good Tuesday.

DD and DSIL are getting ready to bundle Ezra up and take him out in the snow. they may not come here because of the driving conditions. we're not used to this in south Mississippi and some of the streets are icy.  it looks like it's light, fluffy snow but it's swirling pretty heavily. it's 22 degrees here and windy.

@MariotaMurielle - Looks pretty but then I am born and raised Calfornian so I don't have to deal with snow.  Know looking pretty and having to deal with the snow are 2 completely different things!  Hope Ezra enjoys it.

Good evening. It's been in the 20's all day. The caulk didn't come in so after my errand, I drove home. 

My Lancôme item arrived & my Kohl's items have shipped. 

I'll be indoors during this frigid cold weather. 

@MariotaMurielle  I wouldn't chance driving on the roads if they haven't been treated with snow melt. Best to wait until the roads are clear. 

Up here we use all weather tires so if your vehicles don't have those type of tires, don't risk it.

yesterday at BJ's i bought 3 pair of sherpa lined joggers oh my they are great-i was WARM on my walk this morn

dh went to walmart for the weekly purchase this week.i stayed at home to do wash and get my walk in'
