hi all. it's been a very busy week with Ezra. 3 years old is much harder than 2 ever was. he's sweet as a little teddy bear one minute and stubborn and defiant the next. potty training has made a U-turn. he was excited about it at first, but most of the time now he doesn't want anything to do with it.
we made a discovery the other day about DH's almost constant foot pain. the wound vac was malfunctioning on Monday and we couldn't get it to stop alarming, so we disconnected it and just did a regular dressing on the wound. he noticed within a few minutes that his foot pain was very mild, so now we realize that the suction on the wound from the vac must be causing the intense pain. the nurse came on Tuesday and reapplied the device, so we're back to where we were with the pain situation. he sees the surgeon tomorrow.
@JudyL, definitely talk to the therapist about your increased pain after your PT sessions. they can re-evaluate your program.
@SleeplessinSD, I hope your knee is better. did you say you're having it looked at again soon? we don't have catfish real often but when we do we get it fried. you can also saute or broil it. it's a very mild white fish, and of course, Mississippi is supposedly the catfish capital of the world so it's very easy to find here
@JustJazzmom, if you have to have a stomach bug, thank goodness it was short-lived. glad you're feeling better.
@viva923, our weather has been very mild during the day and cold at night, but next week we're supposed to have lows in the low 20s with wind chills in the teens. maybe even snow where we are in south Mississippi.
@Hayfield, that's a lot of steps you get in every day. it's great that you can walk to your gym.
