Good afternoon! 

It's very chilly outside in the upper 20's with some wind. I wore my gloves when I was out. Bought the vegetable fried rice from InnovAsian & another box of their BBQ pork fried rice to keep on hand. 

I also bought a brand of frozen vegetable spring rolls & a different brand of pot stickers. 

It's cloudy here with no snow in the forecast.

snow fall from yesterday was about 4 inch-further south you went the more in totals snowfall-boarder of Delaware/maryland some towns got 28-30 inch snowfall

is it super cold today but very sunny-howling wind today.

Good evening everyone.  Not much going on today.  Just stayed home, watched some TV, and that's about it.  Hope you all had a good day.

We're on a high wind warning through tomorrow. SDG&E sent out an alert of possible power outages. My sister, near the Ontario area, lost power twice today. Luckily, it came back on. The air is dry, which always means fire danger. They had fire evacuations in Pacific Palisades, just west of Los Angeles. So far, all is calm here.
I haven't had a good day....a little depressed, not sure exactly why.

@viva923 , I'm so sorry to hear about the fire at your neighbor's house. Poor animals, just heartbreaking.

@SleeplessinSD  - Was thinking about you today with the high wind warnings.  Hope you don't lose power.  Like you, I'm feeling a bit depressed and have been feeling weepy all day.  Take care.

hi friends. it was a beautiful, sunny day here but so cold and windy. I took Ezra out for a little while so he could ride his truck, but we didn't stay out long.

my new wreath arrived yesterday and it's now on the front door. it's not quite as big or full as I expected, but it's nice.

@JudyL, I remember having what was called the "post operative blues" when I had my knee replacements. it last for weeks, and was just a general feeling and not something I could blame on anything in particular. when my dad had heart surgery he went through a similar time. it might not be at all what you're feeling, but just a thought.

@SleeplessinSD, I've been feeling a little down since before Christmas. for me, I think it's probably mostly stress and fatigue. we've had a lot going on, in addition to DH's medical issues, and it's still ongoing..when things are happening that are completely out of your control it's exhausting. you and @JudyL are both in my prayers...

@viva923, what a terrible thing your neighbor's fire was..losing their home and those poor dogs. it's very sad.

@JustJazzmom, I know your son and DIL enjoyed those strawberries and spiced whipped cream. I've never had that but it sounds delicious.

We changed our Bethlehem Lights over to glistening white (from multi-colored) on some greenery. Left out the snowmen too. Today we shredded the 2024 things my husband kept in the hanging files of his desk. Otherwise, things have been quiet.
