Good morning! Got my car to the mechanic & all the tires were under inflated. The mechanic even put air in the spare. The tire pressure icon is no longer showing on the dashboard.

Have final home PT session today. Need to replenish some things used when I made the pumpkin muffins. I like to have things in the house without having to run to the store when it's needed.

@AuntG , I find coughs always seem to linger..glad your feeling better.

I don't know what's going on around here, but I like it. we've had the most beautiful weather for the last week. tonight we're supposed to have a 20 degree drop in the temperature and then 40s for lows and 70s for highs for the next week. and low humidity. this is my kind of weather!

since I've been sleeping better and have gotten lots of rest for the last several days I decided to cook a larger than usual supper. I made pork chops, turnip greens mixed with collards, cornbread muffins and white corn. I made enough to have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow night, since DD & Ezra eat supper with us every week night. no cooking tomorrow, yay

we get our little 3 year old back tomorrow. I have really missed the little rascal. we are planning to seriously begin potty training. we've been talking to him about it for a couple of months, and he's very interested. wish me luck....I've never potty trained a boy.

@AuntG, I'm right there with you about the lingering cough. I coughed so hard last night that I got choked and felt like I couldn't breathe. so far, it's been much better today.

MM i have not trained a boy for potty time for 53 years or so= not to hard- had one of the potty chairs for my son and when he got big enough he could stand in front of toilet never pushed him on anything

not much today-medicare check at doc's today

Good afternoon! Routine eye exam today, don't return until 6 months. 

Received today the twin bedspread, pillow sham & twin sheets for guest bedroom. I don't like the sheets I picked. They are olive green heathered & are a jersey knit, not like a regular sheet. I'll return them. Saw a set online at Macy's & will order those. 

I see orthopedist for my 3 week visit on Friday. Have to get x rays first. 

Bought the chopped pecans which were on sale including a digital coupon today & they went in the freezer. 

My pumpkin muffins came out great.

I returned the sheets yesterday (which felt like fleece without the fuzz & the sage green was 'heathered' with white thread running through the fabric) & in the interim while driving to JCP the low tire pressure light came back on!

I called the mechanic & made an appointment for this morning. The light went on this AM & was flashing but by the time I got to the mechanic the icon disappeared!

I was told they cannot figure out if a valve sensor is going unless the icon shows on the dash. I asked about changing out each sensor & was told that they run about $120 each to replace! 

I went home; did get dismissed by the visiting nurse this morning. Then I went to gas up the car. No icon showed on the dash.

Just hanging out today.

Not sure what my plans will be for the rest of today.  Just got back from getting a Tetanus shot.  It'd been over 10 years so it was time.  I am now all caught up on my vaccines which is what I wanted to do anyway before my surgery.
