Hello, HiLo, I'm really glad Bobbi is doing well. We miss her posting here, but she can't without a computer.

Ruth Ann is Lurky, right? I'm sorry for those who suffer pain all the time but keep on living and doing what they can. My DIL is like that. A hard worker, but so much pain in back and feet. Sometimes worse than others. Today is their 42nd anniversary!

I would like to do the ancestry check to see about my ancestors. I know the most recent generations on my mom's side were from England and maybe Germany, but know nothing about my dad's side because he didn't. He never met his father for instance.

DD worries about what the organization does with all your DNA information.

But I am curious. I suppose your dad did think that being decended from Vikings was very manly.

I was blessed to have a doctor who prescribed something for me that worked right off the bat. I used to take 3 a day, but now it's one and has been for many years. It's one of the old ones that has many other uses now, and is benign as far as any medication is. I take it at night, so I know it has something to do with why I'm tired in the morning.

Glad you found something that works for you.

My GS called last night and talked about their wedding day plans. They aren't having attendants, but they are having a flower girl and ring bearer who will use the pillow made from my wedding dress. That's special to me. He told me the gender of their baby, but I promised to keep it to myself other than telling DD#2. So I'll keep quiet here although it wouldn't really matter if you knew.

See you later, enjoy your day. We are expecting lots of rain over the next many days.

I got to the PO for stamps. Don't drive in the rain.

halfpint, hope you had a good doctor's vist today. I went to the PO for stamps. I can see the cloud cover coming in and know rain is on the way. LOTS of it for days. We do need it.

I don't watch the TV program you mentioned. I will be 83 in April, and there's no way I'd like to marry any old guy to take care of. We were married nearly 58 years. Nobody else would put up with me. But younger widows do remarry sometimes and that's fine for them. One of my high school friends was married while still in school. They were so in love. Had 3 little children and one day while in his 30s, or maybe younger, he died of a heart attack. She did remarry, but then we lost contact. Hope she was happy.

We haven't added any insulation. Are you doing that? This is fireplace weather. Take care.

Doctors visit was too short. All he said was I am ok. Only thing is my thyroid but I take meds for that already. Since there wasn't an urine test that is were cholestrol comes in maybe. Don't know.

Snappy the Fugitive was in the 60's at 10pm so my eyes can't stay up.  Very seldom now I can go to 9pm.

As far as insulation it looks like little pea shapes. DH use to do a lot roof shingling, painting, house wiring etc. The only thing he wasn't into was barbecuing.
