Possum you made me laugh this morning with the picture of the cat that won't promise not to do it again. I talk to I am green in the face but the older one still wants to chase my newly adopted one. The little one when she wants to get off the sofa creeps down and looks all around for t he older one to see if she is aro und and it is safe.

It is raining here and for some of the week here so no walk for no boots. But we really need it so I shouldn't complain.

Trying to get use to these new glasses. Was sort of talked in to smaller ones with no bifocal lines. My sone loves his but I don't know.  The only good is no sunglasses to take since it changes with the light.

Sorry to hear about everyones health problems. May they pass soon.

Hi halfpint.....did you LOVE the rain, thunder and lightening as much as I did?

Wow, was so thrilled. It feels like a fall day out here and I'm enjoying it so much.

Getting to wear long pants and a new long sleeved top. Had a doctor's appointment so had to get spiffed up for that.

Was glad it wasn't pouring as I drove.

Hope you get adjusted to your new glasses. It usually takes time for me and I always want to go back to my old ones.

Stay dry and enjoy..

Costas Hummingbird, Wings of the Tropics, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.:

Hi Snappy and Friends,   I got back from the colonoscopy test about noon and fell asleep on the sofa,   Didn't get much sleep last night and had to leave the house at about 6am.   Everything went ok, just 3 polyps and come back in 5 years,  or so.   I am still tired,  After the test my brother and I went to a nearby deli and had 'breakfast'  a hot pastrami sandwich.  They had all kinds of choices for either breakfast or lunch, but I hadn't had good pastrami in ages, so that's what we both got.  Felt so good to get some food and drink.   Not used to all that fasting.

Snappy,   I'm glad you had some rain and thunder,  love that sound and just love rainy days.  It's sunny and cool here.  I have a sweatshirt on, D&C,  which I love, and am still chilly here in the house.

Hope all is going ok for everyone.  Thinking of you and wishing you a peaceful rest of your Monday and a blessed week to come. HeartHeart

Moi d'abord !:

Renee,   I thought of you and your two kitties after I read your post about the older kitty still going after your little newer rescue.  Cats are so funny and entertaining.   Always something new with them.    I got Mattie a catnip pumpkin toy, from  Oskar and Klaus    Oscar is blind and Klaus is his companion and 'guide' cat.  Their pictures are below.

They help spread the word about special needs cats so that those kitties can find loving homes.   I wouldn't hesitate to adopt a blind kitty or a cat with only 3 legs or a docked tail etc.   They are just as loving and worthy of a safe, comfortable home as any other animal.

Mattie loves her catnip pumpkin.  It's a bit smaller than a tennis ball, felt orange and she rolls around on the floor with it in her paws, or rubs up against it, uses it as a pillow.   I'm glad I got something that she actually enjoys.  She's a catnip lover for sure.

I hope you enjoy those new glasses and that they become more comfortable soon.  Take good care and hugs and tummy rubs for your kitties.Heart
