I'll let the ladies know about your first treatment, Snappy.  You are always mentioned for prayer and with the highest regard from all.  At this point, the drive for treatment seems to be the most concern so will mention that for prayer.  So far, the next couple of weeks seem covered.

Snappy, like me you hate to ask.  When we've been so independent for so long it's hard to suddenly need to depend on others.  Every four months, I have to take a trip around the beltway to go to a specialist, this trip I dread and pray all the way.  Soon enough will have to ask for help from a family member.  Like you, my other doctors are just a couple miles from home; this is indeed a blessing.  That is one reason I haven't considered moving to Louisiana to be near my daughter; my sons will act if I ask but there's nothing like the concern of a devoted daughter.

Just received another of my now fave leisure tops and the sizing is inconsistent with the others.  I think QVC should pay the return postage when this happens; maybe I should call and see if they will give me a break.  With a shipment of food I didn't like, the Q gave me credit and told me not to return the food.  Over all, I think it is a great place to shop, especially for those who avoid those malls.

Does your daughter dread going back to work?  Teachers have less time off in Louisiana so Donna went back today but says she doesn't mind.  My niece also teaches; 4th grade I believe, and what she says about the students today blows my mind.  In our day we didn't make a sound; going to the Principal's office was something that better not happen.  At my great nephew's school they allow the middle school kids to eat lunch in their home rooms because of fighting in the cafeteria; that's how bad it is in some parts of Md; almost as bad as Baltimore.

Donna said the principal posted a prayer for the teachers today as they returned to school.  That was nice to hear but it would never happen in Md.! Without God  there seems to be little hope for the future of this country we love.We have lived in the best possible time in history.

It's 12am here now so I suppose I will do a few things and by that time it will be bed time for me.  (I too never schedule a Dr's appointment in the morning and never before 1:30 pm unless  absolutely necessary.)

You can be sure of prayers for you on Wed. Snappy.  Sure you will keep us informed.

Love, HiLo
